Muslims vandalised the Ashoka Emblem at the entrance of Hazratbal Shrine, Srinagar, calling it “unislamic.”

It was reopened barely two days ago after more than a year of centrally funded renovation, paid for by your tax money.

Why should crores from the Indian taxpayer be poured into projects where even the national emblem is not tolerated?

Either act ruthlessly, pick up every single one of them and make an example out of them, or stop bleeding the exchequer on such thankless ventures.

Before Sri Narayana Guru consecrated mirror as idol, temples in kerala already had same philosophy. Bhagavathy worship was done using a mirror like object which people couldn't grasp. Guru made it simpler.
