well, well my dearest friends, i thank you all for your patience and your interest in this silly little theory my sleepy mind came up with, and i’m here to deliver.
that elevator scene didn’t sit right with me and here is what i came up with🧵
oh my god guys, i was literally almost asleep with good omens playing in the background AND THEN I HEARED SOMETHING and suddenly something clicked and if i’m right about this i might actually die because that’s just too fucking painful, literally makes the ending 10 times worse
i hate how good they could have looked if this had actually been the confession scene imagine them confessing under the tree where the first sin happened because in reality their love for each other despite their difference sides was the first sin
while we are defending aziraphale: it really saddens me that aziraphale leaving crowley in the alley is seen as either him being an asshole or him being out of character. it makes me mad that it's seen as a bad thing for him to do to crowley in the first place. 1/8
i agree with the message, i just think the writing was hack. so much telling and exposition, so heavy handed. i think aziraphale touching on their shared history where he’s witnessed crowley’s goodness would have been more relevant and impactful
I think the thing that's baffling me the most about #GO3 is that they just... had no actual reaction to the impending eternal disappearance in front of one another??? No goodbye??? No thank you for everything??? No I love you???
It makes no sense me to me and never will.
time and time again Aziraphale sacrificed to try and make things better for others. and in his last hours he was called a taker by a neighbour who he risked everything to protect, a lazy, prideful glutton by the God he served. and still, his last decision was completely selfless
I honestly thought God would be a lot sweeter to them. they are literally the only ones out of all angels/demons that really did love humanity and only ever had good intentions in their heart. like they are honestly the purest of souls. and they get this
@lyson_pain what happened there is really upsetting, attacking creators who put real time and effort into their work is unacceptable. at the same time, i don’t think it’s fair to generalize an entire group or make assumptions about people based on the actions of a few with similar opinions.
thought i’d feel better about s3 with time but i just hate it more with every passing day. feels like a part of me is missing because of how badly they butchered the characters. the whole thing felt so shallow and out of touch with why people loved it in the first place…
@lyson_pain see we both have different opinions about a situation but im not insulting the group that shares your opinions, am i.
its ok to experience things differently as long as we mutually respect each other
@nhiyrl i get you fr, like i actually genuinely felt so disappointed and baffled with every part of it except for the fact that Crowley at least kissed the fingers😭
the funniest part of the season 3 for me was that metatron was just legit looking for a new archangel 😭 no hidden pitfalls, just grandpa doing his job 😭
the way God’s answer to this beautiful question basically confirms she just doesnt give a fuck about anyone fr😭 they literally say bc you were able to value it and it was cute and fun to watch. TO THE QUESTION WHY MAKE ME COMPLETE AND THEN TAKE IT AWAY
