The mission: introduce more people to The Maroondah Exchange.

Who knows exactly what The Maroondah Exchange will become?
I hope it helps people discover more, supports better local events and reminds us how much Maroondah has to offer.

Some events already have a megaphone. Others are quietly hoping the right people find them.
If you organise an event in Maroondah and want more locals to discover it, add it to The Maroondah Exchange:

Not every worthwhile event needs a huge stage or a giant crowd.
Sometimes it’s a library talk, a planting morning, a neighbourhood class or a small local performance that helps people feel connected.
That deserves a voice too:

The budget might be saying “stay home”, but Maroondah has other ideas.
There are free local events, library sessions, walking groups, community activities and wellbeing programs worth discovering.

Why Maroondah?
Easy. I grew up here. School, sport, my first job and nearly 50 years of memories.
I’ve moved around Melbourne and travelled the world, but this is home. The Maroondah Exchange is my way of giving something back.

I thought I knew what was happening around Maroondah. Then I started digging.
Nearly 500 events later, I realised we don’t have a shortage of things happening—we have a discovery problem.
MX is helping fix that:

Events have been the running theme through more than half my life—organising them, running them, entertaining people and teaching future event managers.
Now I’m bringing that experience home to help Maroondah events find their people.
