a project to bring together artists to represent the Tenderloin, a chance to give detail to the neighborhood everyone loves to hate without ever investigating
Thrilled to find @SFjkdineen 's wonderful feature on the Tenderloin Museum's upcoming expansion on the front page of today's print edition @sfchronicle! Above the fold, no less! Grab a paper copy (or read online here: https://t.co/BtYdQyWHvW).
Through struggle and discipline, persistence and faith, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. helped move this country forward. As we honor his legacy today, let’s remember the lesson he taught us: that even in the face of impossible odds, people who love this country can help change it. In honor of #MLKDay, I hope you’ll do what you can in your community to create a better future for us all.

Very few school shooters have gotten the death penalty. Yet the U.S. is trying to charge Luigi Mangione so he gets the death penalty for killing one man. You can kill dozens of kids and get a lesser sentence because their lives don’t matter as much as a CEO’s. That’s America.
Just after last weekend's tornado warning, an SFPD officer driving too fast for conditions struck and killed a pedestrian near Bayshore & Industrial. The unnamed pedestrian is the 39th traffic fatality of the year, a victim of car-focused streets and police impunity.
