He said yes, I work outside like 8 hours a day. I asked if he wore a hat while he was working. He said no….. the top of this man’s hair was burnt. Literally crispy. I had never seen a case of sun burnt hair like this before and now I must warn you all…

Make sure you are wearing sunscreen for your skin and heat protectant for your hair. YES YOUR HAIR CAN GET BURNT

Now time for the hands on inspection. I picked up a loc and the hair felt extremely dry and brittle. I’d never felt a loc that “hard” before. I asked him if he had been out in the sun a lot 🤔

I tried something new for my own hair/scalp. Cetaphil body butter and black Jamaican castor oil.

I did mine tonight. I’m no hypocrite. I only have an inch of hair but I sure scrubbed my scalp real good
