@Benthamsbulldog Thank you for this story.
Sadly, X does not allow me to repost it, saying I've reached my limit (and does not specify what that limit is, though it must be small).
Then says my content is invalid… What does that even mean?
Our no-contact order has been lifted!
@waynehhsiung and I still face 31 years in prison.
But now we can talk. And organize.
And most importantly — rescue the rest of the pups in labs together.
15,000+ beagles at MBR still need help.
ALL our help.
We’ll you there 💪
The UK is making it a crime to advocate for dogs.
The creator of Save the Dogs UK, a campaign based on our rescue effort at Ridglan Farms, was raided and arrested for merely MAKING A WEBSITE to condemn the torture of dogs at MBR.
Here is his statement.
Here's what the pork industry doesn't want you to know about the way it sneaked a provision into the 2026 farm bill that would nullify ballot measures that improve animal welfare, while helping Chinese companies torture American pigs. The issue is personal to me, because we once raised pigs on our family farm, and I saw that these are not commodities but animals rather like dogs: smart with very distinct personalities. A naughty boy who punishes a single animal may be punished, but an adult who presides over the systematic abuse of hundreds of thousands of pigs as a business model is hailed as a visionary CEO -- and voters get that, and that's why they have backed laws that improve animal wellbeing. This is, remarkably, an issue that unites many liberals and conservatives alike; @TomiLahren, @Cernovich and @IngrahamAngle are among those who have been outspoken on this issue. I hope R and D members of Congress alike will stand firm, for the stakes are immense, with four pigs slaughtered around the clock on average all year. Here's a gift link to my piece: https://t.co/NWQbJK6JTc I welcome your comments.
Farmer John Boyd says soaring input costs and foreign ownership of U.S. farmland are putting enormous pressure on American farmers.
“At $6 a gallon for off-road diesel fuel, that’s $600 every time I fill up my tractor.”
“The price of fertilizer has increased 35%.”
“This is on average about $100,000 for an American farmer at the end of the season.”
“That's a hard sell for a banker that you're sitting in front of and you didn't plan for these high costs at the beginning of the planting season.”
“China bought some adjoining acreage from me.”
“I’m 100% opposed to that.”
“I hope that the president reconsiders his position on selling American farmland to China.”
@JWBoydNBFA
Superb that decision makers are speaking up for dogs & cats. Once they’ve stopped those tests, the next vital conversation is how animal testing is from the dark ages and needs to end.
“Marshall Farms is a torture chamber. It is a stain on New York.”
The @USDA estimates 16,000 beagles are held behind this fortress. Many don't know it's in our backyard. They do now. I was proud to join advocates fighting gainst testing on cats and dogs. We won’t stop until it’s banned and this place is shut down

Transparency is needed: the public deserves to know what it is participating in (and unwittingly paying for).
We need to revoke ag-gag laws and stop penalizing whistleblowers.
Imagine your dog trapped in a metal coffin for her entire life. She cannot go outside. She cannot walk. She cannot even turn around to see what's behind her. She is forced to live this way her entire life.
This is the mind-blowing that the pork industry is not just trying to hide, but trying to force YOU to accept through underhanded tactics. It has slipped this provision (the Save Our Bacon Act) into the Farm Bill, legislation that otherwise does things like fund food stamps.
But now that is all being exposed. The NYTimes published an op ed yesterday condemning the corruption and abuse and calling the fight for animals "one of the great but incomplete moral revolutions of our lifetime."
Columnist @NickKristof will be remembered by history for his moral prescience. But this is all being exposed not just because of Kristof. My friend @joshbalk has worked tirelessly to lobby legislators. @Lewis_Bollard has relentlessly pushed this story on social media. @leah_garces has worked for years to successfuly win over allies from within the industry. And, most important, countless Americans like you have raised YOUR voice.
Stories like this NYT piece are in many ways the product of the small efforts of millions. Every person who shares on social media, tells their friends or co-workers about the corruption they've read about, or sheds a quiet tear for these defenseless creatures — you are the ones triggering this moral revolution.
And exposure is just the beginning. Soon, because of you, every animal will be freed from their tormenter's cage.
Great news: the Senate farm bill base text won't include the Save Our Bacon Act, which would wipe out state bans on pork from crated pigs.
Senate Ag Chair John Boozman said it's too controversial to include. That's thanks to everyone who called and posted about this.
But the fight's not over. Iowa's Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst will likely now try to add the SOB Act to the bill as a committee amendment.
Keep the calls to your senators going: (202) 224-3121. Tell them: no farm bill with the Save Our Bacon Act in it. We can win this.

I saved dogs from Ridglan Farms and was interviewed by the Daily Mail.
I’m now facing 31 years in prison.
Since this interview, prosecutors filed three additional felonies against me and each of my co-defendants.
But we’re not backing down.
My bail was set at $10,000 because a court said I’m “dangerous” for saving dogs.
The real danger is not saving dogs. It’s abusing them in the first place.
The district attorney doesn’t understand this.
But a jury will.
And when they do, we’ll save them all.
