Well done Chairman Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba @mkainerugaba this bold move will surely Eradicate corruption from Parliament once and for all……..
The Chief Justice, Dr Flavian Zeija, has declared Hon Jacob Marksons Oboth (NRM) as the Speaker-elect of the 12th Parliament, having garnered 441 votes against Hon. Paul Mwiru's 60 and Hon. Nobert Mao's 15.
Rt. Hon. Oboth has taken oath and received instruments of power from H.E President @KagutaMuseveni.
Congratulations!
Today at Nakasero, I met Mr. Aliko Dangote and we discussed the proposed East African regional refinery.
I informed him that from the very beginning, we have always opposed the export of raw materials without value addition. That is why Uganda delayed oil production because we insisted on first having a refinery. Without refining our oil, it would not make economic or strategic sense to simply export crude oil while others benefit from the finished products.
I, therefore, welcomed the idea of a bigger regional refinery because our objective is African integration and shared prosperity. We cannot continue operating as fragmented and weak markets. If East Africa works together, such projects become more viable and beneficial to our people.
Uganda is ready to support the regional refinery initiative while also continuing with the development of our own refinery in Hoima.
The security forces under the direction and instructions of the Commander-in-Chief launched Operation 'Maliza Ufisadi' the other day. We shall expand this operation and apprehend all culprits. No one will be spared.

Warm congratulations to @mkainerugaba on the inauguration of H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as President of the Republic of Uganda.
This historic occasion reflects continuity in leadership, national stability, and Uganda’s important role in advancing regional peace, strategic diplomacy, and Pan-African cooperation. It is also a proud moment for family, country, and all those committed to Uganda’s socio-economic transformation and sovereignty.
Wishing Mzee a successful tenure marked by wisdom, prosperity, and continued service to the people of Uganda and the African continent.
I was happy to see the massive turnout at Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s 52nd birthday run held at Kololo on Sunday, 26th April. However, what made me even happier was seeing prominent government officials and elders many of whom once underestimated and criticized Gen. @mkainerugaba now competing for front-row seats.
It made my day. My team and I did everything possible to usher them to the front, just as they wished.
This PLU movement will leave no stone unturned. Stay tuned, the best is yet to come. (Ebirungi biri mu maaso.💪)
