C3Ⅰのデザインは本当に素晴らしい。
特にリヤスタイルはピラーからテールランプへの繋げ方が完璧。
手元に残しておけば良かったとずっと後悔してる。

ということで、突然ですが、ARNA（アルナ）です。

アルファロメオと技術提携をした日産とアルファロメオの合作で、ご覧のとおり2代目パルサー（N12）のボディに盾を無理やり貼った車です。

ちなみにARNAは日産とアルファの合弁会社「Alfa Romeo Nissan Autoveicoli」の頭文字をとっていました。

エンジンはスッドの水平対向４気筒1.2L。商業的には失敗した車だったが、アルファロメオはちゃっかり日産のロボットによる生産ラインによって技術力を吸収し、旧アルナ工場は欧州でも随一の近代化工場となったのでした。

失敗した理由は、この頃のアルファの低いクオリティ＋凡庸な日本車のデザインもその一因（涙）。そのため、「日本車のエンジンにアルファのデザインだったらいいのに」と云われたそうです（号泣

スッド好きとしてはいつか乗ってみたい１台です（笑

The Peugeot 406 touring car has a pretty interesting story. in BTCC it struggled with limited factory backing, its best result being 7th with Patrick Watts, Paul Radisich, and Tim Harvey. but in STW, with proper works development, it became a championship winning car with Laurent Aïello behind the wheel. either way, for me it always stood out. the boxy lines with that gold and green livery is French touring car design at its best
