@QueenMab87 Omg the title “doctor” has been used by PhDs for hundreds of years. It was bestowed on physicians — who don’t have doctorates in many counties — to lend credibility to their training. The title’s Latin root (‘docere’) more correctly characterizes the professional work of PhDs.

@Matt_Stefon Are you at a university where they matter? Zero of my colleagues take these seriously as a metric of effective teaching, and it’s virtually impossible to be denied tenure because of anonymous evaluations.
