Election day is around the corner - can you join us for one last canvass on Saturday in support of Inez Bordeaux? We’ll be meeting at 11:30AM at Taft Ave and 38th St. RSVP here: https://t.co/29HmcC4WTk
Tent Mission STL (TMSTL) is proud to endorse Inez Bordeaux for 3rd Ward Alderwoman. We ask you to celebrate and canvass with us this Saturday, February 22nd at 11:30am! We will be launching from Marquette Park on the corner of Gasconade and Louisiana. @InezBordeauxSTL
Inez is the clear & unique choice in the 3rd Ward Aldermanic race for those concerned about bringing about systemic change to homeless services in the City of St. Louis.

We endorsed her. You should too. A movement stalwart, a tireless abolitionist, a Saint Louis native, and working class revolutionary. Wherever struggle is to be found, Inez is to be found. This is the leadership we need for Saint Louis.
I have an OFFICIAL announcement!!

The media plays a role in the criminalization of poverty, & the stigmatization that surrounds the unhoused and here’s a great example of that. The question could be “Should it be legally required that all persons, including the unhoused, have access to clean restrooms?”
The Mayor tried to hide our unhoused neighbors from @KamalaHarris & the DNC but reminders were placed outside City Hall so our guest would know why it was barricaded. A coalition of orgs will continue to fight united for accountability for the evictions and jail deaths under TJ.
This saddens me. What I saw was ppl who showed up Monday out of care & concern for human beings.
And what I personally heard from DHS head @DrAPearson that night was that the city did NOT have beds for everyone. I appreciated his honesty. But this rewriting of history is not ok.
It ended how every eviction ends. Whatever shelter ppl got put into won’t last b/c it wasn’t made for them. They will pitch tents somewhere else & ppl that weren’t placed have already made other encampments somewhere. The whole process will repeat itself in 6ish weeks.
This statement blows. The deescalation done by electeds & non-electeds alike had to happen because @saintlouismayor’s administration escalated tensions Monday night, esp via SLMPD. Direct convos w/ the unhoused made it clear folks did not feel supported by the mayor.
Get real.
