PhD at history and sports journalist with 11 years experience in Bulgarian daily newspaper "Meridian match". Author of book for Bulgarian football history.
14 teams from 13 countries. These are the debutants in the European tournaments this season. For their presentation in the "Tema Sport", I was helped by colleagues from all over Europe, from Iceland to Kazakhstan. Thanks @AndrewTodos, @LuxembourgFooty and many more.
365 days, 69 games, 24 countries, 4 continents. From Guadeloupe to Shanghai and from Cairo to Syndey. 2 European championships (U21, Women), 2 Champions leagues (CAF and AFC), first big continental tournament (AFCON 2025) and many more.
And this is just the beginning.
@fancy_disgrace@SweeperPod I keep all team sheets, but there was none in this match. Your colleague is right, but It's too late to change. If players from the Netherlands or Scandinavian countries know how in Bulgaria spell and pronounce their names , they won't recognize it.
@fancy_disgrace@SweeperPod Watching European football in the Caribbean is a special feeling, especially since Guadeloupe has given France some great players like Marius Trรฉsor, Lilian Thuram and Thierry Henry. Who knows, I might have watched a future Ligue 1 star.๐
@fancy_disgrace@SweeperPod I was there to cover the game (this is my article). Like my other trips, I am self-financing, because you correctly noted that Bulgarian media do not have similar financial capabilities.

Bulgarian journalist Teodor Borisov has been in Guadeloupe to watch the Coupe de France tie between local club AS Le Gosier & CMS Oissel from the mainland.
AS Le Gosier won on penalties, becoming the only overseas club to win a match in the competition this season!
I'm honored to have my article in the new issue of @WorldSoccerMag. The strange case of the Libyan Premier League, played in Northern Italy. I hope this is just the beginning.
