@SgtJJSharps @Flashmaggie @metpoliceuk This was a matter of being solo-crewed. Even a solo male PC is vulnerable. Going to make an arrest should always be a double-crewed unit! That said, I’ve made my fiar share of solo-crewed arrests; always a relief when you get back to custody in one piece!

My 94yr old grandad couldn’t have a human guard of honour at his funeral today but as one of @WMerciaPolice first & top dog handlers, he was given a 4 legged one. Him & his dog Brutus even helped train the SAS back when he served. We were so proud of him. Thanks to Andy & Jax 🖤
