🚨 Terrible Planning? Japan’s Asian Games mess is getting worse

Japan skipped a proper athletes’ village and now the problems seem to be piling up:

- Organisers planned for around 15,000 people, but after new sports were added, that number jumped to nearly 17,000.
- Around 4,000 people are staying on a cruise ship, while another 2,000 have been placed in container-style huts at Nagoya port.
- The beds are so short that athletes over 6ft can’t even stretch their legs properly.
- A South Korean team bus was taken to a baseball ground instead of Mizuho Rugby Stadium.
- South Korea Basketball VP Jung Jae-yong described the accommodation as the worst he had ever seen.
- Male and female athletes have been put in the same rooms.
- Coaches, officials and athletes have also been grouped together to make the accommodation numbers work.
- Now, the hosts themselves are looking for alternative accommodation.
- India has even built replica huts back home so its athletes can prepare for what they’re going to face.
- For India, the situation is especially concerning: only three of the 22 male athletes reportedly have accommodation listed against their names, while three of the five women rowers were not registered with the hosts despite having valid accreditation.
- Some hotels assigned to Indian athletes were given to other participants.
- India’s pistol shooting head coach, Samaresh Jung, also faced an accreditation issue that prevented him from entering the players’ arena and field of play.
- South Korea’s men’s football team was an hour late for a recovery session after its scheduled bus failed to arrive.
- South Korean athlete Byeon Jun-hyeong posted a video showing a leaking sink and a soaked floor inside his hut.
- Thailand’s team was sleeping in the airport.

There are so many such stories, hard to cover…this is supposed to be a major international sporting event. How did the accommodation, transport and accreditation planning get this messy?

The MUT drama is heating up. They have rejected Nawat’s contract and barred 6 countries including Thailand from competing.

They preparing to take major legal action against him.

And ALL! Sponsorships made through MU eastern (led by Nawat) is now Void 🫢

Looks like 🏸 is out of a sponsorship and Nawat basically wasted a bunch of money and is ready to face some intense legal battles which means more money down the drain for him.

Best thing about him going against Raul is it’s not someone Thai it’s someone from the west. Meaning they will go all out to the fullest extent with Nawat and dgaf about the Thai politics of it all.
