This is just my opinion as an international JKR.
I don’t think the biggest risk is whether LingOrm stays another two or three years.
I think the bigger question is: how many JKRs will still be here two or three years from now?
Because loyalty has a limit not to the artists, but to the experience.
I’ve watched this fandom pour thousands of hours into promoting LingOrm because many of us felt that if we didn’t do it, no one else would.
We trended every event.
We translated interviews when official translations were inaccurate or missing.
We corrected misinformation.
We created edits, clips, graphics, and promotional content.
We bought tickets, merchandise, fan meetings, and the brands they represent.
At times, it felt like the fandom was filling the gaps.
Then, when fans offered constructive criticism, some were blocked simply for voicing concerns. Whether intentional or not, that doesn’t encourage people to keep investing their time, energy, and money.
People often ask why JKRs are frustrated.
It has never been because Ling and Orm have friends in the industry.
It’s because many fans were told LingOrm was “favored” or “given everything,” while it often felt like JKRs were doing the heavy lifting just to make sure their work reached the audience it deserved.
When Ling and Orm themselves acknowledged there wasn’t enough promotion and said they were working with management to improve it, it confirmed what many fans had been saying all along.
I’m genuinely happy things are improving.
But, Why did it take so long?
Today, both of them are booked almost nonstop. Ling has even said she wishes she had just one day off each week.
Could better planning, earlier marketing, and stronger communication have reduced some of that pressure?
That’s management’s responsibility not the artists’.
This is where I start looking at it less as a fan and more from a business side.
BEC’s own reports show advertising revenue continues to decline.
In Q1 2026, advertising revenue fell to 607.7 million THB (-19.6% YoY), while the company told shareholders its future growth depends on Events & Artist Management, Global Content Licensing, merchandising, licensing, digital platforms, and commercial partnerships.
In other words, the business model has changed.
Its future increasingly depends on its artists and the fans who support them.
Based on community analysis using publicly available information, LingOrm generated an estimated 279.87M THB in commercial value during the first eight months of 2026:
• 146.35M THB (52.3%) – Fan meetings & events
• 80.82M THB (28.9%) – Commercial endorsements
• 33.54M THB (12.0%) – Merchandise & licensing
• 19.16M THB (6.8%) – Advertising & other activities
Those estimates suggest LingOrm represented roughly 10–12% of BEC’s Q1 operating revenue, while BEC also reported continued growth in Events & Artist Management.
Whether you focus on the official reports or the community estimates, one thing is clear:
Fan engagement has become part of the business model.
Businesses don’t survive on artist loyalty alone.
They survive on customer loyalty.
And JKRs are customers.
Customers rarely leave because of one major incident.
They leave because small frustrations accumulate: poor communication, inaccurate translations, limited international engagement, feeling unheard, and being expected to keep investing while basic concerns go unaddressed.
That’s the business risk I see.
Not whether LingOrm stays.
Whether the current business model assumes customer loyalty will always be there simply because artist loyalty is.
This phenomenon didn’t begin with thousands of people.
It started with around 50.
Look at what two artists and this fandom have built together.
The question isn’t whether LingOrm can continue carrying the business.
It’s whether the business can keep the loyalty of the customers who helped build it.
“That’s the conversation I think is worth having.”

The fact that there was even scarier moment than this.. they literally rushed toward Ling and got less than a foot away from her. Thankfully P’Dao reacted fast enough to block them. @Ch3Thailand_33 does the legal team even exist???
