Alex has heroically signed the gruelling 1407km Lands End to John O Groats bike ride.
If the past year has taught us anything it’s that there is little humanity can’t overcome where there is the will and the funding. Please spare a moment to donate.

In February 2020 I was diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer. Without treatment, I was told, I would have 9 months left.
A lot has happened since: a global pandemic, multiple lockdowns and 21 rounds of chemo (and counting!) to name some of the highlights...

@the__chez Thanks Jasmine. To give credit where due some have been really helpful - @MilesBriggsMSP @JonAshworth and @kirstenoswald to name a few. @NicolaSturgeon has committed to meeting but I’ve had radio silence from DHSC despite a commitment from @MattHancock to look into my case
Hi @michaelgove - it was me that @skynewsniall mentioned to you this morning. I am delighted that the Cabinet is looking at how the terminally ill can be prioritised. As part of your review I’d been keen to speak with @MattHancock if that were helpful. #MakingMemories
@fbanningUK continues to ask the simple question - on humanitarian grounds can those receiving palliative care please be prioritised with vaccinations. It’s hard to think of an easier question to answer. Good on @SkyNews for airing this.
What sad news. For so many Jews of my generation, as all these tweets show in their different ways, he was a giant. Part of the furniture of British Jewish life. May his memory be a blessing.
Sad news. Geoff was many things to me, teacher, bandmate, colleague and hero. But what I'll miss most is his friendship. Au revoir! https://t.co/MR0ENLov4J

It’s time to come together, globally, to accelerate the introduction of virtual and online courts. We have no choice. Physical courts are closing. There is little merit in lamenting the lack of past investment nor in predicting that the technology will fail. Let’s make it happen.
