Doku gör åter det arbete som svensk dagspress borde göra men inte gör. De blottlägger hur ledargestalter i de palestinademonstrationer som polis och åklagare i två år låtit passera utan ingripanden har kopplingar till extremism.

En av dem rapporteras ingå i ett antisemitiskt, pro-iranskt nätverk med band till Hizbollah, shiitiska miliser i Irak, Huthiregimens Ansar Allah i Jemen, Islamic Jihad och andra terrororganisationer. Han talar om ”de förskräckliga judarna i Khaybar”, hyllar ayatollorna Ruhollah Khomeini och Ali Khamenei liksom flera kända terroristledare – och framträder regelbundet i Huthi-kontrollerad tv.

En annan rapporteras samarbeta i ett Gazaprojekt med en central aktör i Ali Khan-nätverket, hyllar terrorgrupper, sprider antisemitism och beskriver massmorden på israeler som en ”historisk seger”. I sociala medier uttrycker han stöd till Hizbollah, Islamic Jihad, Hamas och den iranska regimen – ”hjältarna i det palestinska motståndet”.

Bovaer is a mistake — hubris.

Ruminants have evolved over millions of years. They have perfected their four-stomach system that can digest cellulose and turn it into nutritious dairy. It's an advanced process that we don't know how to do. In fact the ruminants can't do it themselves either, they form a symbiotic relationship with bacteria.

This process has developed so that it emits methane in all ruminants. This means that there is a strong evolutionary reason for doing it this way. Now the drug Bovaer prevents this natural step of the process from happening, by suppressing the enzymes that carry it out.

What happens in the rest of the complex system that is ruminant digestion when part of it is suppressed? We don't know!

All we know is from a few metrics that have been measured. Methane output is reduced. Feed intake is also reduced, which already is not comforting. But there can be many other changes we don't understand, and don't know how to measure.

Probably some news media will paint it as "anti-science" or "misinformation" to be against bovaer. This needs to be clearly rejected.

Bovaer Scandal in Denmark

The enzyme inhibitor drug Bovaer has been mandatory for use in Danish cows since October 1st.

Now, many cows are collapsing, and some have had to be euthanized.

There were always good reasons to be more cautious about Bovaer, as described in the quoted tweet.
