I don't know which girl needs to hear this but the amount of money your partner makes or their height/ their looks isn't going to raise your kids, isn't going to comfort you on stressful days and figure things out with you, isn't going to go above and beyond to make your life easier, isn't going to remember tiny details about you so they can better love and appreciate you.

I'm sure you can argue that money can do all these things. But in a very materialistic, superficial way. Money and looks can both fade away. A man's character is eternal.
