IJS, If I'm in Damon Evans's shoes, I'm not just looking at the usual suspects, nor am I looking at just the analytics or what conference they come from. I'm casting the net as wide as possible. I'm also looking at some candidates that REALLY have a connection to the area.

@IceColdNattyBoh To be Honest, The fact that Turgeon didn't do his due diligence to have Simpkins on staff there already kinda foreshadowed where he was at in terms of how he valued that connection to recruit locally. Any coach that comes here is gonna learn that lesson the hard way.

@mongoterp I think that the casual UMD fan sometimes loses sight of just how unique ( and from some perspectives, difficult) this gig is. From a POTENTIAL standpoint, it's a Top Ten job. The rub is getting the right guy to push the right buttons to unlock it.

It would be big if they continue to play inside out through Wahab, particularly as good as they've spread the floor early this game.

Just kidding...Sources point to the Terrapins at least going through the process of interviewing Pearl, but it's going to take a LOT of money to get him out of Auburn; Money that Auburn has in surplus and the Terps don't.
