Introducing Home Run Empire, a college baseball game like no other.
New features never seen in a baseball game, built around the community, always listening to your ideas.
Everything you love about Hardwood Empire, plus more.
Coming soon.
What's up everybody, version 3.3 has been submitted to the app store.
Awards / History: Added Award Race pages so you can track national and conference award races game by game as the season goes on. Also added Player of the Week, full Draft History, cleaner History pages, Legends, Hall of Fame, all-time leaderboards, and better player bios.
Pro Draft: Added 30 fictional pro teams with names and colors. Drafted players now show round, pick, and pro team, with every draft saved into league history.
Stat Leaders: Full UI pass to make the page cleaner, easier to read, and more polished.
Rankings / RIM: Added RIM, the game’s NET-style resume metric. Also polished rankings, resumes, seeding, ranked wins, mid-major logic, head-to-head tiebreakers, and tournament tracking.
Story Events: Added Off / Normal / In-Depth options with more player events, avatar popups, morale effects, attribute changes, hot/cold streaks, and missed class decisions.
National TV: Ranked vs ranked games can now become National TV games, with big wins giving your program a prestige boost.
Gameplay / QOL: Better sixth-man usage, smarter CPU rotations, cleaner CPU progression, overtime labels, recruiting/transfer polish, push notifications, NIL stability, schedule/tournament polish, redshirt display, career history cleanup, save recovery improvements, older save support, and more.
I’ll attach a link for a more in-depth summary if you want to read!

More on baseball very soon.
Just wrapped up Hardwood Empire 3.2.
A lot of the most asked for features / improvements you guys have been pushing for are in this one.
Live Interactive Court: Biggest visual upgrade we've made. Gamecast now has a full live court built into the sim with dynamic home court branding, center logos, arena styling, and live shot mapping. You can actually see where shots happen in real time instead of just reading text.
Dynamic Crowds: Arenas feel alive now. Crowds scale based on prestige, so blue blood home games feel packed while smaller gyms feel smaller. Neutral site games can have split crowds depending on who's playing, and fans react live during big moments.
Usage Control System: Still the normal 1st / 2nd / 3rd option setup, but now there's also full usage sliders if you want total control over offensive shot distribution. One guy taking over or a completely balanced system, totally up to you. Plugs directly into the actual sim.
Music: Added in-game soundtracks for a more immersive experience, with more music coming next update.
Gameplay / Sim Improvements: Big realism pass. Late game logic is much smarter, offensive systems behave more realistically, and I spent a lot of time tuning sim rates so scoring, assists, rebounds, pace, and advanced metrics better match modern college basketball. Also tuned long-term dynasty balance so smaller / mid-major schools can still have real breakthrough runs without turning into permanent national powers every save.
Other Fixes + QOL: New Player IQ attribute. Working haptics on iOS + Android. Transfer portal affordability indicators. Career / retirement history fixes. International recruit fixes. Schedule + MTE fixes. UI polish. And more.
Everything in this update is completely free. No God Mode purchase needed. 3.1 got submitted before I was even home from school, so 3.2 had way more time for polish and bug fixes, and the update after this will probably be way more bug-focused since the game has a ton of features now and making everything as polished and stable as possible is the priority. Most of these features will also be toggleable, so if you want the more classic Hardwood Empire experience you're more than welcome to play that way too. Seriously appreciate all the support, this community has grown way faster than I ever expected. Submitting to iOS + Android as soon as this post hits 500 likes ❤️
Just finishing up everything you guys voted on for 3.0. Here’s the feature list. Submitting tonight.
Revamped Transfer Portal: Portal rebuilt from the ground up. Player cards now show fit at last school, why they're leaving, role they played, and minutes pattern so you know who you're getting. Stars are harder to land at low prestige unless you're spending real points and NIL. Also added JUCO players alongside the D1 transfers.
Flips and Decommits: Recruits can now flip schools or decommit between windows. Rare but real. Full screen flip alert pops when you reach the dashboard so you don't miss it. Pure decommits put the kid back in the pool. Don't want any of it? Toggle flips off in settings.
Freak Recruits: Generator now occasionally rolls something special. 6'9" point guards, stretch bigs that pass, athletic freaks at center. Tagged with a Freak badge. Rare enough to feel like a real find.
Power Metrics: New analytics section. Pace, efficiency, four factors, strength adjusted ratings. If you want to actually know who's playing the best basketball this is where you go.
Series History: Pregame card now shows your full all time series vs the opponent. Win counts both sides, last meeting, current streak. Switch jobs and the series stays with the school.
National Game of the Day: Featured matchup from across the league each game day. Tap in for the full preview just like your own games.A new way to follow the rest of the country.
Dream Jobs: Pick a dream job when you create your coach. Offers roll in as you build prestige. This school will keep a close eye on you.
Old Stars Become NIL Donors: Players who graduate or go pro show up years later as NIL donors. Build a legacy and the donor pool builds with you.
God Mode + Custom Realignment: Force Commit works reliably now and every other reported God Mode bug has been fixed. Force Wins added for CT and NT. New: every offseason in God Mode you can manually realign conferences. Move teams around and build the league you want.
UI Changes: Polish across the interface. Cleaner cards, better spacing, mobile first layouts. New Series History card design. Diagnostics page in Settings if you ever get stuck.
Other: 2.9.5 was supposed to be bug focused but had a submission error so I merged everything into 3.0. 3.1 will also be bug focused. Tried to fix every bug reported. Thanks for the support!
2.9 OUT NOW!
I’ll have a 2.9.1 out some time tomorrow with some bug fixes. As far as 3.0 goes, I took all of your guys features that got the top votes and am implementing them now. Let’s keep making this app great!
posted highlights of our new 5-star recruit (hence the "⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️") and suddenly i’m talking smack about south carolina
y’all are not right in the head
You guys asked for a deeper sim and that's what 2.9 is. Submitted.
Rebuilt Avatars: Player avatars completely redone. 14 hairstyles, 8 skin tones, 6 hair colors, beard options, all at higher resolution. Over 50,000 combinations across the 4,700+ players the game generates. Coach avatars got the same revamp.
Player Cards: Cards rebuilt from scratch to feel like a broadcast graphic. Team-color gradient hero that pulls each program's actual colors, oversized OVR display, archetype line, headline stat strip, and tabs for stats, ratings, game logs, and bio.
Coaching Systems: Biggest gameplay shift in this build. You pick an offensive scheme and a defensive scheme and they change how your team plays. 6 offensive options (Run & Gun, Motion, Pick & Roll, Princeton, Post-Centric, Balanced) and 6 defensive options (Man, 2-3, 3-2, 1-3-1, Press/Trap, Pack Line). Run & Gun teams shoot more threes and turn the ball over more. Pack Line teams give up fewer paint points but allow more open looks. Same modifiers run in live games and background sims so your scheme matters either way.
Scout Cards: Tap any team and you can now see their offensive and defensive playstyle laid out in full. Real game-planning is finally possible. Facing a Press team, you can scheme around it. Facing a 2-3 zone, you can prep your shooters. Pull up an opponent before tipoff and actually know what you're up against.
Recruiting Pipelines: Recruit generation now mirrors real basketball geography. Top talent clusters in real hotbeds. Class rank, position rank, and state rank show on every recruit. All-American badges flag elite prospects and State Player of the Year badges call out standouts in smaller states, but neither is an auto cheat code. An All-American is a strong prospect on paper, development still matters, and not every one pans out. State POY varies a lot by state. The real edge is taking a job in a strong pipeline state. Better states produce better players more often, and coaching in a hotbed gives you home state advantage on recruits everyone else is fighting over.
Smarter Rankings + Bug Fixes: Rankings rebuilt to reflect who's actually playing the best. Quality wins matter, strength of schedule matters, bad losses hurt. Plus a long list of bug fixes from your Discord reports. If you posted a bug, it's been looked at even if I didn't reply directly.
Android: Thank you for everyone who has been testing! We have finally got aversion that is ready for release and I am submitting it right now! I will keep you guys updated on when it drops❤️
