FYI, TerraFormer comes with another variant of shader without tessellation with much higher performance and platform compatibility if you don't need extruded terrain surface 😉

@Mouldy38050261@unitycoder_com There are some 3rd party assets on store and also Unity China had a similar system in place which we tried last year and it was working good but was still very limited, not sure what state it is now though!
@unitycoder_com I see :) I had a quick test last year to compare GPU Instancing and DOTS on a same scenario and GPU Instancing won! And by huge, can you give an example?

MeshLods: 10 million tris at ~244fps
*6000.2 is probably most exciting Unity release in a long time! (regular operations like adding heavy models into scene or marking them static is ~50x faster than 202x.x)
