One of the biggest hurdles to engaging with others on #UAP activism in #Canada for me has been the expectation that our government operates the same as American Congress. If your MP isn't part of the governing party, that MP is limited in how they get #UFO info for you.
@hendrixjhe@dsotis@BrandenCPC@ChiefSciCan It's not about being "scared". We have a Five Eyes intelligence agreement. It's a treaty level intelligence sharing system where sensitive aerospace data is regularly exchanged under classification rules that limit sharing any sensitive info between allies with the public.
Finally, they're asking about Dr. Nemer's Sky Canada Report, instead of griping about the cost of her office furniture. When I inquired with staff, they said no one was interested in picking the topic up. Hopefully this means @LarryMaguireMP is still working behind the scenes.
Conservative π¨π¦ Member of Parliament @BrandenCPC is demanding UAP answers from Ottawa. The government has 45 days to respond to this "Order Paper Question" on UFO briefings and the @ChiefSciCan's Sky Canada Project report π https://t.co/uIWuiclrEm πβπ
The military response was, in 2023, essentially: recovery is difficult, and without recovering the objects they could not be certain what they were. Pelletier separately explained that they wanted the wreckage specifically so it could be analyzed to determine whether the objects were balloons, drones, or something else. So then where's the evidence they're using to be so certain now?
Fellow Conservative MP @adamchamb also filed this recent Order Paper Question about UAP detected over Canada, but the response he received only mentions 3 "human-made research" balloons that were shot down over Alaska, Yukon and Lake Huron in Feb. 2023 πhttps://t.co/QN3cchd3SFπ

Excellent. Time to roll out some ATIPs. What evidentiary basis allowed DND to change the status from an unidentified object assessed as likely benign to a determined βresearch balloon,β and when was that determination made? This answer suggests that an intelligence assessment was made without recovered wreckage, followed by unsuccessful recovery operations. The military response was, in 2023, essentially: recovery is difficult, and without recovering the objects they could not be certain what they were. Pelletier separately explained that they wanted the wreckage specifically so it could be analyzed to determine whether the objects were balloons, drones, or something else. So, what's the evidence for being specifically a research balloon? Whose balloons were they then? If they're basing it on a piece of weather monitoring equipment that the RCMP found on the shore of Lake Huron, why then did an internal RCMP correspondence explicitly question whether it had anything to do with the shootdown at all, saying βWhether or not it is from the shoot down is uncertain.β The RCMP never publicly established that the recovered shore debris came from the object hit by the F-16. So what gives?
@dsotis@IPCinfoprivacy Honestly, I would almost rather CNSC come back with "sorry we don't have records like that" again so we can see what Caroline Maynard says about that with a complaint to OIC.
I wish I had different news to share. But 4.5 years since my initial FOI request, I have lost my fight to get UFO reports from Ontario's nuclear power plants. An @IPCinfoprivacy adjudicator has sided with Ontario Power Generation. The UAP data will never see the light of day...β’οΈ
I'm far from an expert. Though I can usually guard against most, it's the "enlightened" or newly "awakened" that are harder to shield from. Without training or initiation, they can be a fire hose and be really uncomfortable to be around, even when they're genuinely good people who just want to show you how much they care. I think spending time to learn to close it off is just as important as learning to project it in my humble opinion. Being "on" all the time opens you up to other sorts of problems. It's like learning the light from your house can help your neighbour across the street, so you just leave your front door open all the time. Who knows what walks in.
I've said Shamanism is important to the UFO topic for awhile. I recommend @AlpnEthngraphr's article on CE5. He didn't coin the term 'technoshamans' as the host says, Terrence McKenna used it, but it's refreshing to see a Canadian academic studying it. https://t.co/2jMcGSD3bx
Tucked into a 700+ page information release package from Canada's Department of @NationalDefence was this mention of a "UAP" that NORAD tracked as it travelled 22,500 feet above Quebec on June 26, 2023. Follow-up info requests have already been filed to find more details...πβπ
On January 17, 2026 in Quebec.
An aircraft reported seeing 3 lights in a triangular pattern moving above them.
The North American Aerospace Defence Command (NORAD) was contacted. No other issue and no loss of service.
