@StormsOnErie I’m not sure a warning is warranted. They warn when it’s questionable and nothing when really needed. On Lake Erie I follow you and NWS Buffalo in the US for weather.

@StormsOnErie I first saw tracks and heard one in Point Abino a few years ago and then myself and others saw it on numerous occasions. There have been sightings. Fishers are also around Fort Erie too now.

Unbelievable day with tornado warnings all through NY. We in Niagara dodged a huge bullet. This tornado broke away from main cell, remained on the ground for a long time and caused extensive damage in S. Buffalo. The main cell tracked right over Niagara.

1 yr hop trees (Ptelea trifoliata) that I propagated overwintered just fine and will ultimately be planted on L. Erie’s shoreline. Just one of the Species at Risk that are in my home nursery and will be used to enhance our forest and shoreline. Many lost with past winter storms.

@InspectionCan Can you state where in Fort Erie this has been found? This is very concerning. There are areas of rare, southern Old Growth Hemlock populations in some of the Carolinian forests in Fort Erie.
