Greetings from GWANDA...Massive EPC projects like this one take a long time to conclude and reach financial closure. Please be a little more patient and rest assured we will harvest a 100 MW of clean solar energy sooner rather than later. MY STORY IS NOT OVER UNTIL I WIN... 🙏🙏🙏
While the tour of Precabe Farm is presented as a symbol of unity and progress, many Zimbabweans see a very different reality on the ground.
A strong relationship between the Commander in Chief and the security sector should never overshadow the urgent need for accountability, economic reform, and genuine democratic space. Zimbabwe’s election to the UN Security Council is an achievement, but international recognition means little if citizens at home continue to face economic hardship, limited job opportunities, and institutions that struggle to serve the people effectively. Vision 2030 cannot be achieved through ceremonial engagements alone, it requires transparent governance, respect for civil liberties, and leadership that prioritises citizens’ daily struggles over political optics. National development is built by empowering communities, not by consolidating power among a small circle of elites. True progress demands that government actions reflect the lived experiences of ordinary Zimbabweans, not just high level tours and official statements.
@maphanga_T We must not endorse rigged elections and we must not support repression in SADC be it Eswatini, Zimbabwe or Mozambique.
We have a moral duty to push back on the regimes which are doing these things in SADC.
CJ Malaba (Rtd 21) might have saved Mnangagwa but constitutionally, he never served him. That’s why the sight of him receiving a thank-you or service gift is deeply worrisome. Justices are paid from the common purse and not from a politician’s back pocket. That’s an inflexible tenet to be jealously guarded to the last lawyer standing.
The gift is however, legally significant in that it retrospectively taints every pronouncement that has ever been made by Malaba for the benefit of Mnangagwa. That is how the law on bias operates. A court order tainted by bias will at the application of a concerned party be set aside, whatever the consequences. Bias, just like fraud, unravels everything.
CAB3 is not a people’s document, it’s a political project, and the public consultations made that painfully clear. Citizens who opposed the bill were sidelined, ignored, or drowned out by coordinated groups who arrived with rehearsed gestures and slogans. That is not democratic consensus, that is manufactured consent. Stability is important, yes but stability built on silencing dissent is not stability, it’s stagnation. Young women don’t benefit from laws passed without transparency, accountability, or genuine public participation. Development doesn’t come from constitutional shortcuts, it comes from institutions that respect the people they serve. Calling this a shift in the chamber doesn’t change the reality outside it.
Communities want jobs, functioning clinics, safe roads, clean water, and real digital access not amendments that concentrate power and weaken checks and balances. If we are serious about building a digital, inclusive Zimbabwe, then we must defend the Constitution, not dilute it.
If we are serious about empowering young women, then we must protect democratic space, not shrink it.
If we are serious about progress, then we must listen to citizens especially when they disagree. CAB3 is not a step forward. It is a step away from the democratic guarantees young women and all Zimbabweans rely on.
‼️A warning to all South Africans ‼️
If Zimbabwe becomes a family dictatorship and dynasty of the Mnangagwa family, the influx of Zimbabweans into South Africa will be ten times higher.
The illegal immigration we are all debating about is caused by two corrupt political parties; Zanu PF in Zimbabwe and FRELIMO party in Mozambique.
If we want to reduce illegal immigration in this country we have to address the root causes in addition to:
🟥STRONGER BORDERS and
🟥STRONGER ENFORCEMENT of the immigration act.
Do not ignore what is happening next door because it directly impacts our country.
Do not ignore it because the corrupt Zimbabwean politicians and businessmen now are corrupting our economy and politicians with their cigarette money, gold mafia money and dirty dollars.
These two Zimbabwean crooks are trying to take South Africa down a path of disaster.
We must challenge @CyrilRamaphosa to cut all ties with Zanu PF and strongly oppose the banana republic constitutional amendment to give Mnangagwa endless time in office.
BREAKING: We can reveal that Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo left Kenya yesterday evening and is currently in South Africa.
We also need to correct an important piece of information we shared earlier today.
This morning, we reported that President Ruto had left the country aboard the Gulfstream V private jet (P4-BFR). Based on information available to us at the time, including reports that a government official was on board and the unusually high security surrounding the flight, we believed that assessment was accurate.
However, after further verification, we established that the passenger on that aircraft was in fact Wicknell Chivayo, who departed Kenya yesterday together with several other individuals. We have since obtained video evidence confirming his departure and will be sharing it shortly. Important that video captures the plane Ruto is using today.
At the same time, we can confirm that President Ruto has now left Kenya today aboard a different private jet and is currently outside Kenyan airspace on his way to South Africa.
The moment we discovered that President Ruto had not travelled on the Gulfstream V, we went back to investigate further. What we found was significant: the aircraft we had tracked was carrying Wicknell Chivayo, not the President.
Below is an image we obtained from the airport showing the same aircraft, Gulfstream V P4-BFR. More evidence, including video footage, will be shared shortly.
