@realroseceline People should do a deep dive into their financials - very opaque and a bunch of red flags. Very little commentary / explanations. @FinancialTimes and @FTAlphaville have done some good coverage on it. The cheapness is asking whether the numbers are real. Logistics comp advantage.

@albie_cilliers Yes, credit to Milei for what he has achieved thus far but he is not guaranteed to succeed, they are in a very bad financial position. They don’t even have FX reserves. SA in a much better position. Hope that he is successful and get Argentina back on track, would be remarkable.

@MichaelJordaan I think what is being missed here is that the market was very weak leading into this. Basically flat over 3m period. Give credit on the reforms but also note they basically have no foreign reserves.

@JohannBiermann1 Chile struggled with sort of the same problem a couple of weeks ago (very successful vaccination program but covid cases were surging). Seems to be getting better now. Israel on other hand does not have this problem.
