@varrock@geoljills Please show me the Constitutional law that allows one segment of society to utter a word freely, but bans that said word from being uttered by the rest of society.
Imagine being the editor-in-chief of The Economist, sitting across from Elon Musk, and thinking your killer argument is:
“Some people loathe you.”
Oh no. Not loathing.
Surely the man who launches rockets, builds cars, owns a global communications platform, and has roughly a quarter-billion followers will now collapse because a prestige-media hall monitor informed him that the faculty lounge disapproves.
Then came the dreaded label: “far right.”
And what horrifying extremist platform earned that designation?
Secure borders.
Safe cities.
Sensible spending.
Free speech.
Truly terrifying stuff. Next he may demand functional airports and criminals who remain in jail.
Musk asked which of those positions was actually radical, and suddenly the mighty machinery of elite journalism began producing the intellectual equivalent of a dial-up modem trying to connect.
Because “far right” is not an argument anymore. It is a verbal air horn journalists blast whenever normal people refuse to applaud the latest ideological renovation.
Then Musk returned the “loathed” package to sender.
Maybe some people hate him. He doesn’t care. But far more people despise the media than the media realizes.
You could almost hear the monocles hitting the floor.
Beddoes arrived expecting to perform an intervention on Elon Musk.
Instead, she accidentally hosted a public credibility audit of her own profession.
The results were not encouraging.
The press still thinks it is the stern principal summoning America into the office.
Most Americans now see it as the weird substitute teacher who lost control of the classroom years ago but keeps threatening everyone with detention.
Elon did not destroy media credibility in that interview.
He just pointed at the smoking crater and asked whether they had noticed it yet.

@NYCMayor The stench of this man’s arrogance is beyond the pale. Suffer this fool ‘till he drowns in his own failed policies …. an ending which we can only hope will be swift and humiliating.
The number of Minnesotans telling me they don’t know is who Lisa Demuth is but they know who Mike Lindell is so they will vote for the man they know is quite alarming.
The man made and sold pillows. You know him from bad ads and explosive behavior in public.
Lisa Demuth has been a MN state representative for 7 years and the speaker of the MN house for well over a year.
She has an impeccable record, she has proven she is willing to hold both sides accountable for bad behavior, and she has proven that she is more than willing to cross the aisle and work bipartisanly when the other side is willing.
She has no scandals, no history of bad behavior.
But y’all want the pillow guy cause you know who he is.
Well, why the fuck don’t you know who your own speaker of the house is? Why, as a functioning, voting adult do you not know this? Why do you think your opinion should hold any weight at all if you don’t know who your own goddamn speaker of the house is?
You can’t be serious.
We have one shot at turning this ship around, and y’all are gonna blow it over name recognition for a pillow guy.🤦🏽♀️
You don’t know who your own speaker of the house is, but you expect me to listen to you tell me that the pillow guy is the better option?
I have a feeling I’m gonna be living in Alabama this time next year because I am surrounded by a bunch of fucking doorknobs in this damn state and if things don’t change come November, I’m out.
Maybe some of you should spend a little less time arguing about politics online until you actually take the time to understand them in real life.
JFC don’t be doorknobs people!!!
And don’t at me telling me all the differences between Lindell and Demuth-if you know who both are, this isn’t aimed at you, so get over your butthurt before it even begins. This is specifically aimed at Minnesotans who pretend they know what’s going on but who are obviously clueless. If we have already discussed a difference of opinion rationally regarding candidates, again, this one ain’t for you.
@redheadranting 1977 grad here-we not only had a designated area, we often times would be joined by teachers. The rule was; must be 18 and not currently participating in a sport, cheerleading. Drinking age was 18 so same rules applies to drinking off campus.
Those were the fun years!
A nation does not prove its honesty by teaching its children to despise it.
Of course the Smithsonian should teach slavery. Teach the chains, the auctions, the families torn apart, the laws that protected evil, and the long national struggle to destroy it. Teach the betrayal of Native peoples. Teach segregation. Teach every failure plainly.
But teach the whole story.
Teach the men who wrote ideals they did not fully live up to, and the generations who used those same ideals to force the country closer to its promise. Teach Frederick Douglass, Lincoln, the abolitionists, the soldiers who died preserving the Union, and the civil rights leaders who demanded America honor its own creed.
That is history.
What is not history is taking every achievement, symbol, tradition, and founder, feeding it through an ideological shredder, and presenting the scraps as the only truth worth knowing.
There is a difference between repentance and self-hatred. Between complexity and contempt. Between confronting national sins and teaching children that their country is uniquely wicked, permanently guilty, and undeserving of affection.
The Smithsonian can broaden the American story without dissolving it. It can acknowledge the crimes without erasing the courage. It can teach injustice without pretending justice never advanced.
Love of country should not require blindness.
But honesty should not require hatred either.
A national museum worthy of the name should be capable of holding both truths at once.

Once “Death to the U.S.” comes out of these DSA fucks’ mouths like it’s just another fucking policy position, every last one of you still pretending they’re harmless little social democrats can go straight to hell.
They’re not reformers. They’re not edgy progressives with strong opinions. They’re open goddamn traitors who live in this country, use every system it built, then sit there and say it shouldn’t be controversial to wish death on it. And the rest of the political class nods along like this is just spirited debate instead of the cancer it actually is.
Their own national leadership already admitted the endgame is communism. Their members brag about taking America down from within and overthrowing the whole capitalist state. Now one of them says “Death to the U.S.” out loud and expects the rest of us to treat it like a spicy take instead of the fucking treason it is.
Meanwhile these same clowns will lose their goddamn minds if you misgender someone or say men can’t get pregnant. But chanting death to the actual nation that protects their right to be this stupid? That’s just “pushing the conversation forward.” That’s just “punching up.” That’s just Tuesday in their little circle-jerk of cosplay revolutionaries who’d piss themselves if they ever actually got the revolution they keep begging for.
You don’t get to hate the country this openly, cheer for its destruction, and still demand to be treated like a legitimate political movement. The DSA isn’t a party. It’s a support group for pathetic, entitled ingrates who want all the freedom and prosperity America provides while actively working to burn it down.
The second “Death to the U.S.” stops being instant disqualification, the whole “democratic socialist” label is just marketing for people too cowardly to say what they really fucking mean.

This is no surprise you import adult Somali who know nothing other than what they have been raised with, scam violence clan etc, then they are taught how to scam the American system by the ngos and administrations that imported them here. Of course they're only going to teach their children the same grift and violence. America is not compatible with third world countries or Islam they all need to go.
WATCH: St. Cloud City Council member Scott Brodeen slams the "disgusting show of disrespect" after an American flag flew upside down at a Somali Independence Day event in the city
"It's sickening ... To the politicians and candidates that were down there supporting [and] didn't take action, didn't stand up for our country, shame on you."
The media language game is always the tell.
SCOTUS didn’t “ban” a single goddamn person from sports. Nobody got dragged off a track. Nobody had their running shoes ripped off their feet. Nobody was forbidden from training, sweating, competing, winning, losing, or chasing a personal best.
A biological male was simply told the girls’ division still has rules. That’s it. That’s the entire fucking story.
But “ineligible for the protected female category” doesn’t create enough outrage, so the media whores rewrite it into emotional terrorism. Suddenly it’s “dreams crushed,” “child banned from sports,” “civil rights violated,” “just wants to play.” Cue the fake tears, the soft piano music, and the total erasure of every actual girl whose opportunities just got stolen in real time.
Fuck that noise.
Every other category in sports is treated like normal, obvious, non-negotiable reality.
Age groups? Fine.
Weight classes? Fine.
Paralympic divisions? Fine.
Varsity cutoffs? Fine.
Little League limits? Fine.
But the second a category exists to protect girls from male physical dominance, these same sanctimonious fucks start screaming that rules are hate and fairness is bigotry.
Girls’ sports weren’t built as some feelings-based participation circus. They were created because males and females are not the same after puberty, and everyone with half a brain used to understand that.
Now activists have turned civil rights language into a weapon to launder male access into female spaces, and they lose their shit the moment anyone says no.
This ruling didn’t end sports for anyone. It just refused to let one lane get completely erased so males could feel validated. And that’s exactly why the media can’t tell the truth about it. Honest language would expose the entire fucking scam.

When you ask these youngsters how they plan to pay for all the “free” stuff they always reply with some version of “tax the rich”.
My response to them is: the estimated total asset wealth of the 900 or so billionaires in this country is $9 trillion. They would cover the estimated cost federal and state devices for about 8 months. What happens when that money runs out?
Here’s the part the new socialist marketing department never wants to discuss: America already tried the easy version.
Not the dictatorship version. Not the breadline version. Not the “CIA made the mill stop working” version. The easy case.
New Harmony, Indiana.
Robert Owen had money. He had land. He had housing. He had workshops. He had mills. He had orchards. He had cleared farmland. He had volunteers. He had intellectuals. He had the famous “Boatload of Knowledge,” because apparently socialism always thinks the missing ingredient is another expert with a clipboard and a theory about human nature.
No war. No embargo. No hostile army. No capitalist sabotage. No “late-stage capitalism” boogeyman hiding in the cornfield.
And still, the thing collapsed in about two years.
Why? Because incentives are undefeated.
When the skilled worker and the lazy theorist get the same reward, the skilled worker eventually figures out he is the mule in someone else’s moral pageant. When everyone owns the mill, nobody fixes the mill. When planners replace prices, waste stops being a mistake and becomes the business model. When responsibility belongs to “the community,” it quietly belongs to nobody.
That was socialism with training wheels, a helmet, a trust fund, and an entire town already assembled.
It still rode straight into a ditch.
So spare us the DSA rebrand, the Denmark cosplay, the red-button compassion routine, and the lecture from children who think history began when they opened TikTok.
New Harmony was the autopsy.
Cause of death: socialism.

“I work the front desk at a small doctor’s office, and I wish people could see what happens on the other side of the phone.
Every day, older patients call us confused.
They are told to use the patient portal, upload documents, check lab results online, fill out forms before the visit, and confirm everything through a link.
Some of them do not know what a portal is.
Some do not have a smartphone.
Some have one, but they are afraid to click the wrong thing.
Last week, a man in his late 80s called about his test results.
He said, “Ma’am, I don’t mean to bother you, but the computer says I have a message and I don’t know how to open it.”
He sounded ashamed.
That broke my heart.
He should not have to feel ashamed for needing a human being.
Technology can be helpful. I understand that.
But when people who built this country are made to feel helpless because everything became a login and a password, we have gone too far.
Not everything needs to be an app.
Not every answer should be hidden behind a screen.
Sometimes people need a voice.
A patient person.
A real human who says, “Don’t worry, I can help you.”
Progress should not leave seniors behind.
Because one day, the world will move faster than us too.
And I hope someone is kind enough to slow down.

Taxpayers have to be the only people in America forced to pay for something, watch someone else take credit for it, and then get lectured for not being grateful enough.
That is the entire “you didn’t build that” scam.
You paid for the road.
A contractor built the road.
A crew poured the asphalt.
A trucker hauled the materials.
A private company made the equipment.
An engineer designed the project.
Then some politician waddled up with scissors, cut a ribbon, smiled for the cameras, and acted like he personally invented transportation.
Same racket with schools.
Same racket with firehouses.
Same racket with bridges, dams, rail, utilities, emergency services, and every other thing the left points at while yelling, “See? Socialism!”
No, you jackass.
That isn’t socialism. That is taxpayers funding infrastructure, private industry building it, workers maintaining it, and government arriving at the end to steal the family photo.
The left’s genius is turning your money into their moral authority.
They tax you, regulate you, waste half of it, outsource the hard work, slap a government plaque on the finished product, and then tell you your success belongs to them because “we did this together.”
Funny how “we” always means you pay, someone else builds, and they get the applause.
Obama’s “you didn’t build that” was not a rhetorical mistake. It was the ribbon-cutting fraud exposed in broad daylight.
The builders built America.
The taxpayers paid for America.
The bureaucrats just found the podium.

An 11-year-old boy. One crochet hook. 60 skeins of yarn. No pattern. Two weeks. 🇺🇸
While juggling tennis camps and baseball games, Grayson poured his heart into crocheting this stunning American flag blanket—just in time to celebrate America’s 250th Independence Day. 🧨
No fancy instructions, just pure determination and love for his country. The result is a beautiful family heirloom that proves some of life’s greatest treasures are still made by hand. 🇺🇸✨
Proud of this kid and the quiet power of creativity in the next generation.
What an inspiration! 👏
