@nrmainsurance@13arm13arm Here we go again @nrmainsurance
I have 5 cars and another greenslip is due
NRMA is last on the list as itโs the most experience ๐คท
@nrmainsurance@13arm13arm So how do you have a $2-300 variance? Iโve been with NRMA over 15 years so donโt expect to have to shop around. I switched to someone cheaper and will review my other 6 policies now
@EVStraya@Tesla@TeslaAUNZ@elonmusk@TezLabApp I did that but forgot to stop and ended up in Townsville ๐
I checked out New Italy. Cheapest chargers Iโve found so far along the coast 39c/kWh
@EVStraya@Tesla@TeslaAUNZ@elonmusk@TezLabApp Not bad. Just went looking for some stats on my Saturday drive but not supported on Tessie till v14 ๐ฅฒ I pressed the go pedal a lot ๐
@harald_murphy@Tesla@TeslaAUNZ@Tesla_AI Channelled my inner Harald and went for a drive. 2 days was enough to collect 12 stamps for my Tesla passport. Sydney to Townsville 2,360 ks averaging 151 Wh/km
@harald_murphy@Tesla@TeslaAUNZ@Tesla_AI Howโs the fatigue levels compared to driving yourself? I need to do Syd-Townsville return 3 times next year so driving may be better than flying ๐ค
@sandmanute@JillMarinelli1@sydney_ev lol. If I donโt have bills I have the money in my bank that I didnโt have to spend ๐ add up your electricity, fuel and car servicing. Spending a few dollars to save 10x that for future pays off big time.
@sandmanute@JillMarinelli1@sydney_ev In 2019 my electricity bill was at least 6k per year. Then it was in credit for a few years then this year it may be $250 for the entire year. My fuel bill dropped 10k per year. Thatโs a stupid amount of after tax savings for the next 15+ years.
@sandmanute@JillMarinelli1@sydney_ev I spent a touch over 20k. Itโs saved me over 30k and I have warranty for another 10 years. Still working well given it produced 56kWh today and it was raining 1/2 the day. Adding an EV into the mix saves me over 10k per annum in running costs.
