@_TheSmartAlec1 He’s so smarmy about it too. “If you disagree, fine. Sit in that chair and wait (…) a long time” - such bizarre yet utter contempt for the people who dared to believe that he… actually made any progress on the special he said he was working on?
He is such a fucking liar dude he really cannot admit that his scripts were so bad the special got axed and now has to say “Actually there was never a script!” to save face
RTD went on that radio show to promote Tip Toe, fucking beaming and saying there was an exciting press release in the pipeline, only for it to be that him and his mates had high tailed it and that the show is over
The fucking nerve.
I don't like being negative, but that statement from RTD is infuriating. Effectively saying: "There never was a Christmas special, we made it up, and if you're disappointed by that it was your own fault for believing me."
@RyanMAM1987@Crpal4@SpyMast73050981 Why would I be jealous about a gay man, who I don't know? Why would I assume that's what his dream was?
I want to be a sci-fi author, aspiring, but my own world is VERY different from Doctor Who.
Sounds like you just want to assume things about strangers you don't know.
@Crpal4@SpyMast73050981 I know that, and I get it, you love someone etc, but still weird to film it as if he's the Doctor or smthn? As a fun thing, fine, but fully edited with music/cuts? The hell.
Saddest thing about Doctor Who fans is they want a version of the show they watched 20 years ago rather than something new
You just got someone who tried to give you that and look how it turned out
Doctor Who has to evolve and fans have to let it
Odd how I never saw droves of women (or men) complain these male protagonists were too "ugly".
Folk simply acknowledged they looked grounded and realistic to the world, even if it was fictional.
Yet many can't afford the same narrative leeway to women in games.
To some, women protagonists aren't allowed to look normal or realistic, nor NOT wear make-up and NOT look like an Instagram model or porn star, instead they HAVE to be super hot.
That to me is such a socially detached, weird and creepy standard to have, and I can't help but think most who share it likely have extremely limited real world experience with non related women, who are comfortable enough around them to not wear make-up.
I say all this as someone who LOVES hot or sexy women in games. But that doesn't mean ALL female protagonists have to be like that. I like my grounded, normal, realistic depictions too.
Just like I did the male protagonists below, who are arguably far uglier in comparison lol.
