@smdcapital@optionscjp Tesla share price will only go up when/if Robotaxi scales and the revenue is reflected the financials statements. The current price of the share has the potential future growth priced in.
Just solve the problem. I am not worried about Elon Musk. On a scale of honesty compared to other founders/CEO’s etc he is a 9/10.
He is going to do what is best for SpaceX/Tesla/Himself. And the best situation for the future of Tesla and SpaceX is to maximise control and to buy Tesla shares at a low price and use the 10/1 voting rights in SPCX to increase his control further. This is how the cards have fallen for him. Expecting him to sit and do nothing is little naive.
Now how I managed my anxiety is I sold 1/3 of my Tesla stock and with the proceeds bought SpaceX stock.
(Just my opinion and that’s what I have done….but it was so hard to sell 1/3 of my Tesla stock after holding for 5 years)
Thanks Mama for your comments, much appreciated.
@saylor I think Buffet/Munger said Bitcoin is rare commodity of nothing. I think I agree. I would never buy money. Michael I don’t see how u see value in this?
Hi AJ,
I think the framing sometimes makes it sound as though everything Elon does is part of a carefully pre-planned master strategy. In reality, a lot of it looks more like placing big bets and then adapting intelligently once the dice land.
Tesla’s FSD progress has been slower than hoped, and that contributed to the share price treading water for a period. That wasn’t the desired outcome. At the same time, SpaceX has moved forward strongly in areas like Starship development, global Starlink expansion, and exploring AI-enabled satellite capabilities. These opportunities have emerged in response to the current technology and market environment, and SpaceX has been well positioned to pursue them.
From an investment perspective, it would be valuable to acknowledge that the technical and scaling challenges in autonomy and robotics are genuinely different (and in some respects harder) than those in launch vehicles, satellite constellations, and large-scale manufacturing. Because of that, the upside in SpaceX has been able to compound even while Tesla faced headwinds. Highlighting this adaptability and the relative maturity of certain SpaceX opportunities could give investors a more complete picture.
I don’t think it’s fair or accurate to portray Elon as someone who deliberately undermines one company to benefit another. He’s operating in extremely complex, fast-moving fields where priorities naturally shift as technology and markets evolve. Recognising that agility, rather than assuming constant strategic manipulation, feels like a more accurate way to look at it.
Hey AJ u make it sound that Elon Musk is somehow doing something illegal and conniving by looking after his interests. U are obsessing and finding things.
Hey AJ if u had to take SpaceX public would u try to take steps to undermine the stock so Tesla shareholders benefit. Or how would u have handled the SpaceX IPO?
Hey AJ if u had to buy Twitter and create new companies (XAI and X) would u have created them in Tesla where the dems or wokes were trying to capture Tesla from Elon Musk and there was a significant risk in borrowings and creating debt for Tesla while Tesla had good cash reserves.
Common AJ u just creating friction for no reason. Thats how things panned out. SpaceX has gone 10X while Tesla is stagnant. That’s how it is. There will be a merger and Tesla shareholders will be diluted. So what. Why didn’t u get into SpaceX early. There were many ways to get in indirectly.
U carrying on for attention. It is irritating. U beginning to think that you are the sage or the Elon Musk of investing. The worldly guru who is all knowledgeable on these matters. What u are dumping on us is the obvious and it hurts. Elon Musk is doing the best for him and Space X and Tesla(last). If he does not structure things his way he may not be incentivised to keep managing them.Without him these companies are gone or the explosive growth is gone.
Stop this crapy take on:
(1) pump and dump
(2)Elon Musk is a calculating CEO trying to harm Tesla shareholders etc etc
Thanks AJ you great and your advice is great on companies etc.👍😀☑️
Ye! Everything Elon does is smart. AJ a little envious are U. U doing a good job with analysing companies. One of the few that does excellent work. Keep it up. As I said before at 70 I stick to Vanguard ETF’s. Mainly VOO/VGT or in Aussie https://t.co/dffKEumU3h. If I was a Younger I would be subscribing 👍☑️
@RealJimChanos@WR4NYGov It is hard to understand your takes on Tesla for the last decade. Was it real analysis or was it rage 😡 and blabber inspired by hate for Elon Musk because he leaned towards common sense political views.
AJ I like your honesty but it is completely blind and anyone u perceive that has deviated from your standards you hammer. Even Elon.
Your investment advice is excellent, honest etc. If I was not playing the AI/share market via Vanguard I would be looking at a subscription. But at 70 years old it is a little easier to play this market via:
Automated weekly investments in these ETFs on the ASX.

Do u have any comments on my take on Elon Musk versus your take of his motives. Comment on the 5,10,20 year returns on holding the 3 Vanguard Funds as compared to your funds.
Thanks AJ Nicos
AJ you making like Elon is the ultimate scoundrel. Look around you at most CEO’s. Whatever you think he is doing is still mild. U are making comments like he is the biggest scoundrel around. Is it not normal to market your company before an IPO.
Look at the marketing of SPCE by Richard Branson/Chamath Palihapitia. Trade tourism/ capsules under jumbos etc etc. So much utter nonsense, but it worked. Stock pumped up, dumped by the key players and the retail investors sitting with worthless paper.
Mary Barra promised GM would launch 30 new electric vehicles by 2025.
She predicted Ultium batteries would cost 60 percent less with twice the energy density.
GM electric cars would reach up to 450-mile range.
She committed to an all-electric light-duty fleet by 2035.
EVs remain GM’s long-term “north star” and “end game.”
Trevor Milton (Nikola founder, likely who you meant by “Hilton?”) made these promises about the electric/hydrogen truck before his fraud conviction and 2025 Trump pardon.
He promised the Nikola One semi-truck prototype fully functioned and worked “incredibly.”
I believe the majority of South Africans who emigrate choose to stay in their new countries and build permanent lives there, rather than returning home. While a smaller number do return for personal, family, or other reasons, most do not—recent surveys suggest around 43% of expatriates have no intention of ever coming back.
South Africa’s government should shift toward genuine merit-based policies that eliminate discrimination based on race, ethnicity, or any other irrelevant factor. Employment, promotions, and opportunities must be determined solely by competence, skills, and performance. Underperformers—regardless of background—should face consequences, including dismissal when warranted.
This meritocratic approach is the only sustainable way to benefit the majority of citizens in the long term. The current system entrenches a small elite—roughly four million people—who hold power indefinitely, often leading to wealth accumulation, corruption, and inefficiency. This is fundamentally unfair to the remaining ~60 million South Africans.
Without meaningful reform, the economy will continue to contract, unemployment will remain stubbornly high (hovering around 31–32% in recent data), and opportunities will dwindle for everyone. In the end, there will be little left to sustain any group—skilled or otherwise.
True progress requires prioritizing ability and accountability over quotas or patronage. Only then can South Africa reverse its decline and create a fairer, more prosperous future for all its people.
@FmrRepMTG Didn’t u loose your job. U weren’t good enough. It happens all the time to many of us and we just take it, accept it. Now u are just saying things out of bitterness and I hope u feel good as u making a fool of yourself.
