In December 2010, 24-year-old Phoebe Handsjuk was found dying at the bottom of a garbage chute in her luxury Melbourne apartment building.

She had fallen 12 floors. At the bottom, a trash compactor nearly cut off her foot, and she bled to death alone.

Despite finding blood and smashed glass inside the apartment she shared with her boyfriend, Antony Hampel, police treated her death as a suicide.

A coroner later ruled it an accident. He found that Phoebe had mixed alcohol with sleeping pills, sleepwalked out of her apartment and climbed into the chute feet first.

But the chute opening was barely wider than a microwave, about one meter off the floor, with a heavy door that closed on its own. And Phoebe's fingerprints weren't anywhere on it.

Even when tests showed an athletic woman of Phoebe's size could barely squeeze into the slot on her own, her boyfriend was never treated as a suspect.

Then, eight years later, another young girlfriend of Antony Hampel was also found dead. Police again treated it as a suicide.

Hampel said he was at an event in the city at the time, and a coroner found her death was not suspicious. He has never been charged in either death.

Phoebe's family still doesn't believe she climbed into that chute on her own.

Six police surround myself and my wife and arrest us at home. This is from the police bodycam footage. We’re currently taking action against Bedfordshire police for this outrageous arrest. In 1887 a paediatrician in Newark lost his two-year-old son to diphtheria carried in a bottle of cow's milk, and the thing he spent the rest of his life building was a supply of raw milk clean enough for doctors to prescribe.

Henry Coit knew what had killed his boy. The milk of an American city in the 1880s came from cows kept in sheds behind distilleries, fed on the hot waste mash, milked by men with open sores, carried in open cans through the summer heat. Half the infant deaths in the city came through that can. Pasteurisation existed; Coit and most of the paediatricians of his generation refused it, on the grounds that boiled milk was dead milk and a baby raised on it did not thrive.

So in 1893 he gathered a commission of physicians and wrote a sixty-eight point contract. A farmer who signed it had his cows tested for tuberculosis, his sheds inspected without notice, his milkers' hands examined, his milk counted for bacteria every week, and in return he could sell it as certified: raw, clean, cold, bottled, and prescribed by doctors for infants, invalids and the sick. Certified milk spread to every city in America, with a medical commission in each one, for half a century. Hospitals ran on it. Doctors wrote it on prescriptions. It cost twice the price of ordinary milk and sold out.

Pasteurisation won anyway, because it was cheaper than cleaning the cow, and by the 1950s the commissions had folded and the word certified meant nothing.

The father who had buried a child killed by dirty milk did not want the milk cooked. He wanted it clean, and he spent thirty years proving that a cow could be clean. The industry chose the oven instead and the leaflet has called that safety ever since.

Concerned residents packed the Utah County Planning Commission meeting on Tuesday after it unanimously approved a widely unpopular data center ordinance without allowing public comment.

Police quickly moved on concerned residents – including swarming one young woman, dragging her out of the room, and slamming her onto the ground. The woman was left with a concussion and a bruised and swollen jaw. She spent the night in the ER after being released from jail.

An emergency rally was called for Wednesday in response to the brutality. Community members are demanding the termination, arrest, and prosecution of the offending officer – identified as Phil Crawford.

A TSA supervisor cleared grandfather Kermit Warren to fly with $28,000 in his bag. Then the DEA ROBBED him of every dollar.

His crime? Nothing.

The government calls it “civil forfeiture.” Everyone else calls it theft.

Kermit Warren flew to Ohio to buy a truck so he and his son could haul scrap metal for a living after losing their jobs during COVID.

The truck was too big for what they needed, so they headed home with the cash.

At the airport, he told TSA exactly what was in his bag. A supervisor said he could travel with it and waved him through security.

Then the DEA showed up.

Warren tried to show the agents the truck he’d flown in to buy. He offered to call the seller. They weren’t interested.

“We think y’all are up here doing something illegal.”

That’s it. That’s the evidence. A man’s life savings, gone on a hunch — and they wouldn’t even let him make a phone call to prove them wrong.

WARREN: “When they seized my life savings, every penny that I’ve worked for, every honest dollar that I earned over the last 25–30 years, it made me feel like I was the dirt on the ground.”

CONTEXT: Fortunately, the government didn’t get away with this one. After roughly a year without his savings, federal prosecutors agreed to return all $28,180 to Kermit Warren and dismissed the case.

Her name is Rosalyn Crump, she’s a mom raising 3 boys in Richmond VA

On July 29th, just before 2 in the morning, Richmond police officers showed up outside her home on Sussex Street.

She was ASLEEP, but someone woke her up and told her police were outside and her car was being towed.

Police say the Flock system had linked her 2012 Hyundai Elantra to a sh00ting near Gilpin Court and body camera footage shows the officers shining flashlights through her windows.

At one point, one of them seemed to doubt they even had the right car.

They noticed her KIDS’ CAR SEATS were buckled in the back, but they towed it anyway.

Rosalyn came outside and told them flat out: “Y’all got the wrong car.”

She told them she’d been at her mom’s house all day, came home at 4, and waited for her kids to get off the bus at 5.

Nobody had driven her car.

An officer decided her story didn’t match the Flock data and said on camera that she was, “definitely not telling the truth.”

Minutes later, Seibert’s Towing hauled her car away.

If you think that was insane... well, IT GETS WORSE.

About FOUR DAYS later, she finally got a phone call.

Her car had been released FOUR HOURS after they took it... because police had already found the person they were actually looking for.

NOBODY FROM THE POLICE TOLD HER!!!!!

When she went to get her car back, she found it DAMAGED from the tow.

The towing company’s VP admitted fault in writing.

Then the claim went to insurance, and the company said it could no longer settle with her directly.

Her mechanic’s verdict:

TOTAL LOSS.

Richmond police now admit Flock cameras led them to the wrong vehicle.

Meanwhile, Rosalyn has lost wages, can’t get to work on time, and is paying for a RENTAL CAR out of her own pocket just to get her boys where they need to go.

She literally did nothing wrong and was home with her kids.
