@lexaloffle are effect commands in the sfx editor implemented yet? i can only enter 0-7 in the effect column (and can't enter any numbers in the effect params column), and it doesn't seem to do anything
lol just a proof of concept but
each red speaker is playing the same C tone, pitched only by movement relative to the camera
audio is a bit glitchy bc i don't think blender really maintains this feature in a serious way. reverb & compression added in post
