Day 106 of LAUTECH medical students being out of sch.
“It is a shame that these students, who are the cash cows of the university, have had their academic years unjustly elongated” ERC said.
This👆 summarizes it.
@lautechmsa@lautechofficial
106 days! @seyimakinde@lautechofficial medical students in the state’s only tertiary teaching hospital have been out of the classrooms for 106 days!
Our future is in your hands and you have dropped it. Disgraceful.
Dear Governor @seyimakinde,
LAUTECH medical students have been at home for over 100 days now, and so far, no practical steps have been taken to resolve the ongoing strike.
I urge you to intervene and address this issue as soon as possible. For a progressive administration, education should not be at a standstill.
Thank you, sir.
How long will LAUTECH medical students remain second-class citizens in their own university?
How long will our lives be placed on hold?
We are not asking for too much:
• Meet the demands of our lecturers.
• Give us a clear resumption date.

What session stood out for you during the conference?
Mine has be the missions talk where Bishop Ponle Alabi preached about Jesus and the cross. The way he explained how Jesus died for us for on another whole level. It felt so real🥹.

A decade ago, a young boy dreamed of becoming a doctor, naive and clueless about the journey ahead but he persevered through the rigors of earning his MB;BS.
