so much transphobia is people thinking you must actually be stupid to believe you can change your sex when in reality its just them being too dumb to understand basic endocrinology
for what it's worth i feel like "born in the wrong body" describes my experience a lot more than "i identify as a woman" or whatever. the latter makes it feel like i just decided to transition on a whim one day when really it was consistent daily discomfort that motivated me
My mom brought up a good point the other day in that it is essential for c1s people to stop viewing transitioning as like analogous to hair transplants and to start viewing it in terms of insulin access for diabetics and blood pressure medication for people with hypertension.
if you think its okay to put gender dysphoric children through natal puberty i want you to block me. i am entirely serious about this. i do not care how much you like my posts. i do not care how much i like your posts.
@tafphorisms 90 percent of trans men see being trans as something you do to express yourself instead of a treatment to a mental illness and they have no sympathy for anyone who actually suffers from dysphoria
