The storm that was just north it Beaumont has seemed to intensify before it crosses into Louisiana. This storm is moving NE and contains quarter sized hail with 60 MPH wind gusts. Secure outdoor furniture and bring pets inside. #txwx

There is a new severe thunderstorm warning for areas of North Houston. Hail will be below quarter size but blinding rain and strong winds will be the main threat. Secure all outdoor furniture and keep people and pets inside. #txwx

Another look at the explosion in downtown Fort Worth near the 800 block of Houston Street. Injuries have been reported. Avoid this area!

There is currently a severe storm just West of Houston. If you are in that area, I do advise you secure lose objects outside, and bring in any pets. This storm may contain quarter sized hail and 60-MPH wind gusts.

There is now a new Severe thunderstorm warning just north if Beaumont. This storm may contain half dollar sized hail and 60 MPH wind gusts. If you are in this area, secure all outdoors furniture and bring pets inside. #txwx

There is now a possible tornado NW of Hemphill, Texas along the LA-TX border. This had not been confirmed yet, but I advise you pay close attention for alerts from your local office. #txwx

There is now currently a tornado warning just south of I-10 moving NE at 35 MPH. Keep in mind this is RADAR INDICATED, meaning there is no known tornado, but a possibility there is one. #txwx

It also seems that these two storms may have the probability to become severe.

Incase you guys haven’t found out already, there is a high probability of strong to severe storms today. There is already a tornado watch for portions of Southeast Texas and Southwestern Louisiana. For further information, keep up with your local NWS office or other WX Accounts.
