he couldn’t help but smile, as the blonde wrapped her arms around him. pouring some coffee into the cup, turning around to hand to alice.
“as requested.”
a soft gasp escapes her lips.
every time he did it, she scolded him,
but secretly liked it. soon, she was
walking up behind him as he made
the cup, arms wrapping around him
in a soft embrace.
“ my god ... ” she breathed, gaze
averting to the floor before she looked
back up at him.
“ the pain of losing a child never
goes away. you just learn to bear
it. ”
“after sarah passed, i didn’t see a point in living anymore. i was in a bad place at the time..”
he responded, letting out a sigh. eyes gazing up at alice, setting the mug down on the table.
“grabbed a gun and went to pull the trigger, i flinched and left a scar.”
she took the offered bottle,
sighing gently before popping
two of the tablets and shaking
her head.
“ that's what i thought i was
doing. but, had i been, then you
wouldn't have been there to rescue
me, now would you? ”
cheeky.
a faux gasp erupts from her lips,
narrowing her gaze at him before she
plops beside him on a stool.
“ i'll have you know i'm in great
shape for my age, in case you
couldn't tell. which... i'm sure you
can. ”
hearing about inès hurts. she knew it
was for the best — she was better off
with travis. jackie was a mess, even with
all of her shit supposedly "figured out".
“ i'm sorry to hear that. on both
counts. ” she tries lightening —
letting out a sigh, before dumping the ashes in the tray. eyes gazed into her own. travis doesn’t really like how she pops up whenever she want:x
“mateo is good, he keeps askin’ about his mom. god rest her soul. as for inès, she’s doing well. she can be a pain in my ass.”
