Special day honoring the @ClearCreekISD retirees who collectively have over 3,000 years of service in education. I was able to present fellow class of 1993 @SouthwesternU alumni Christina Theile with her retirement award.

At last night's @ClearView_HS senior awards banquet we heard powerful stories from students about how the school has given those students a place to belong and thrive. It's a great example of how we provide a world-class education for all students in @ClearCreekISD

Enjoyed the @ClearCreekISD Future Educators' Signing Ceremony. Great keynote by the Clear Creek HS teacher of the year Marshall Munson who went through the Teacher Education Training program at Clear Falls. Great to see our district help fill the future teacher pipeline.

No voting today as polls are closed in observance of San Jacinto Day. On this day in 1836, the Republic of Texas was born. I am so fortunate to have moved here over 40 years ago.

Huge shout out to the volunteers and @ClearCreekISD teachers for spending Saturday giving elementary and intermediate students the opportunity to learn and compete in the first annual AI Hackathon. Another example of CCISD providing world class education opportunities.
