@luxemiaa Hey, your sweetie saved you a lot of time! I baby talk to my dog all the time, and if a guy (or girl in your case) had an issue with it, that says more about them than us! Who could resist baby talking with this squishy face, aka Strider, the destroyer of sofa cushions?
A dog failed his service dog exam, and was later seen at a train station carrying the reason why.
People at the station couldn’t stop staring when the dog walked onto the train with a stuffed elephant held proudly in his mouth.
At first, everyone thought it was part of his training.
But his owner started laughing and explained the truth.
The dog had been training to become a service dog, but during one of his final tests, he kept getting distracted by an elephant plushie nearby. Instead of staying focused, he tried to steal it like it was the only thing in the room that mattered.
That was the moment he failed.
But his owner said he couldn’t be mad. The dog had tried his best, and even if he wasn’t meant to be a service dog, he was still loyal, gentle, and full of love.
So before they left, he bought him the elephant toy.
That night, the dog didn’t pass the exam, but he still went home with the person who chose him anyway.
Steve Lipscomb was a son, a father, a husband, a Marine, a man of faith, and a coal miner.
Ten days ago, Lipscomb and his crew encountered an unknown pocket of water when a “sudden and substantial” flood sent millions of gallons into the Rolling Thunder Mine. Lipscomb lived up to his life of service, faith, family, and community by ensuring his entire crew made it out safely.

@Ravious101 Someone who truly loved her wouldn’t ask her to choose btwn her beloved dogs and him. It’s an insecure man who feels like he’s in competition w/ dogs. Why didn’t he offer to help her build the dogs beds? What could have been a bonding experience for everyone he saw as a threat.
I also don’t want to get ahead of things as there are a couple of boxes to tick. But…
It 99% looks like she has a wonderful forever home already.
You love to see it 🥰🙏 (3/3)
In honor of National Golden Retriever Day, let's talk about the goodest girl.
I know anyone with a female dog ALSO has the goodest girl, but I want to talk about our goodest girl.
It starts with very scary medical procedure and ends with our family loving our golden somehow even more.
On August 16th our Bernese Mountain Dog went in for life saving surgery.
A massive growth was found in his abdomen unlike anything the surgical team had seen before.
The team was going in blind and we were told that there was a chance our dog wouldn't make it.
Thanks to the skill of the surgical team, luck, prayers, everything, our big guy survived and is recovering right now at home.
So what does this have to do with our GOODEST GIRL?
Our Goodest Girl's name is Beaker and what she did when Bunsen got home brought us to tears.
Beaker is 4 and her big brother Bunsen is her whole world.
When Bunsen was in hospital we realized it was the first night that Beaker spent apart from Bunsen in her entire life.
She has always known a home and family with the fuzzy bear.
She didn't know where he went, but she knew something was wrong.
Her behavior changed.
She cuddled with anyone she could, sleeping much more than normal.
Thankfully, she was reunited with her dog-brother a couple days later.
Beaker was ecstatic seeing Bunsen return.
Bunsen was super dopey from pain meds and Beaker was gentle with him at the door, but her megawatt golden smile she had lost was back.
She looked at Bunsen then to the humans as if to say - You brought him back!
In the days that followed Beaker never left Bunsen's side.
That first night she stood guard over him, laying next to him, sleeping next to him.
She KNEW he was wounded and couldn't defend himself.
It was HER turn to protect him.
Bunsen had saved her life from a coyote attack when she was young and the gentle giant is definitely the protector of us all.
It brought tears to our eyes seeing her watch over the dog that couldn't do his job.
She knew her assignment.
Our puppy Bernoulli didn't understand Bunsen's recovery and he was quickly put in his place by a watchful Beaker.
Puppy nonsense that happened too close to Bunsen's crate was quickly shut down and redirected away.
Lastly, Beaker would bring Bunsen gifts.
Somedays it was a sock.
Somedays it was a toy.
It was something. Bunsen didn't really play with anything she brought, but it was the thought that counts.
If you are very lucky with your time on our planet you might get have the privilege of having a pet.
They will teach you life lessons in kindness, and empathy.
They will step up in ways you never expected.
They will be the GOODEST GIRL.
Dear Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that I write to tell you that Saint Norbert Liv Freyermuth Steines passed away peacefully wrapped in the warmth of my arms last night, 9:00 PM, Sunday, January 26th, just two months before his 16th birthday. My family is heartbroken....
During the week a dog named Bunsen texts his family.
Those texts are saved.
Today they are shared.
Sometimes very sad things happen, and the texts this week are in honour of Kuno.
To the bestest service dog, and his family- this is Texts From Bunsen.
