The Gospel was shared with me, at least in part, 17 times before I believed it.
1. Don't give up sharing the Gospel with people who don't want to hear it.
2. Don't give up praying for people you think would never believe.
3. Hope in a patient God who loves to save rebels.
Forthcoming from @ReadBakerBooks: The Biblical Christ by me and @chedspellman!
In somewhat of a follow-up to my The Biblical Trinity, we offer 7 truths for Christ-centered interpretation that's rooted in Chalcedon and aimed at a student and lay audience.
Jesus is:
1. the center of the Bible
2. born for the salvation of mankind
3. truly God
4. truly man
5. one person
6. two natures
7. confessed with and for the church

Matt Harmon and I relaunched our podcast, Biblical Theology Briefing. 🎙️
We've got six episodes lined up for season 1, and I can't wait to share them with you.
First episode: "What is Biblical Theology?"

One of my favorite features of this project is that the book order will follow the Hebrew MT rather than LXX. I dare to hope (against longstanding tradition) that other Bible publishers will be willing to do the same.
The second century is one of the most critical time periods for the emerging Christian movement. Here's my look at two newly-released volumes on important aspects of this overlooked century: https://t.co/RhW2geWKvk
