there should be some ideas in these that should help. I think a big part of it is reflecting on what the students are doing. Showing them what is happening regarding pron etc.

@AmandaMcG96 I wouldn't stress about justifying being paid. I imagine you're there already. First writing jobs tend to be things like vocab exercises in a workbook and the brief is so strict so most teachers with some materials experience and some feedback can do it.
@AmandaMcG96 It's a tough one alright. One of the things we did early on was to get in touch with publishers and start writing reports on coursebooks for them. It's not great money but gives you an in and really helps to hone your knowledge of how the whole process works.
