@Apok____ @vapefuls because they can't get a hang of the processes in which librarians are trained, you also need to have a proclivity towards the subject matter, no joe shmoes just goes to apply. certainly people who don't have an inclination towards astrophysics would apply for a masters or phd

@Apok____ @vapefuls not similar at all, librarians don't teach just as much as astrophysicists don't teach unless that's the discipline they choose to go into. library phd programs are very much a thing, i got my degree at an accredited university. a lot of people don't make it through mls programs
