@TheBikeNerd_net I have L, XL, and XXL jerseys from the same company that all fit the same (and a few L s that are too small). It’s crazy. I’m built exactly the same as you (5’10”, 200, long arms/torso).
@TheBikeNerd_net Funny thing, I own 3 gravel bikes (Volagi Viaje Ti, Viaje steel, Niner RLT9). Only the RLT9 sees gravel duty. The Ti bike pushed a Torelli Montefalco to the side as my primary road bike and the steel bike is set up as a commuter…they’re fantastic in their non-gravel roles.
@BikePortland@BikeIndex@stolenbikereg Bryan is the man!! I don’t know how many bikes his work has contributed to recovery…but A LOT!!! Heck, two of my stolen bikes made it home thanks to Bryan and a couple of good sams.
@TheBikeNerd_net Same here. I also found I had smother power delivery to the rear wheel and got better traction climbing in the dirt—it was a stark difference on the SS especially. I’m also a masher (<<90 rpm usually) and had crap knees (I now have new ones).
@TheBikeNerd_net Ditto. I’ve been running ovals on every bike I have and had since 2009. One single speed mtb ride with an oval ring is all it took to bring me to the dark side.
@answerswithjoe As crappy as 2020/2021 were, they don’t even make the top 5, maybe not even the top 10, for me personally(I have 56 trips around the sun completed).
@mdennedy I could watch Hot in Cleavland episodes over and over just because of her mastery of delivering one liners. There will never be another like her.
