@Aron_Adler@leostera when the contract ends - they always unable to correctly calculate final bill amount - I had three contracts terms with them so far, it was like this every time. Then I have to spend hours, file complaint, etc
@leostera@Aron_Adler Nah the contract is too long and they are not real optics. And no IPv6 at 2026. I have been their customer for 4 years as my prev flat only can connect VM and experience is quite mixed. If I have choice I would choose HyperOptics or maybe just Starlink.
@Ruurtjan Roughly played around - the domain section is quite interesting, the IP section is rather plain for only having rDNS checkout. Maybe have something like https://t.co/C54tcB82bo would be good?
Grateful for the recognition of SMT! Deep appreciation to @michioh for being the best supervisor ever, who helped make all this possible, and to my coauthors. It’s a privilege to work with such talented researchers at Edinburgh, and looking forward to more exciting work ahead.
1/3) We think it’s time for cloud apps to move on from TLS/TCP (and QUIC) designed for the Internet. We’re developing SMT - an encrypted, message-based transport protocol in our IEEE S&P'26 paper (https://t.co/8aoyyZiOSe) - awarded IRTF Applied Networking Research Prize!
2025 was a game-changer year for me, and my PhD has never felt this close. I visited so many places, reconnected with old friends, met amazing new friends across the world, got my first ever publications and citations. And I am already super excited for 2026! 🚀☕️🧑💻
Just got my work on encrypted datacenter transport accepted to APNet 2025! My first research paper and first acceptance — a huge personal milestone. Deep thanks to my amazing co-authors and my family for their support. Keep rolling! 🚀

TCP flow migration across machines needs middle box (P4) for seamless transparency.
Talk @netdev01 0x19 S Li, S Chien, T Gao and @michioh proposal: no need for programmable switches. Do it at the host with TC hw offload and some spice of ebpf https://t.co/b5bdLi9nUz #netdevconf
