“Donald Trump,” the rare albino buffalo named for its blond tuft of hair, was hours away from being sacrificed for Eid al-Adha… until the government stepped in.

It had already been sold for ritual slaughter when viral videos turned it into a national attraction.

Crowds started flooding the farm to see the nearly 1,500-pound animal in person, forcing officials to intervene due to security concerns.

Now the buffalo is headed to the national zoo in Dhaka instead.

@zinaraZW Good to note Makonde RDC doing some works, Hurungwe RDC needs to be shaken up, roads have gone for more than 5 years without grading or regravalling. Of particular the link road between Zvipani and Chidamoyo is a total mess.

@JoriDenford This road is a disaster; economic value lost due to its state is huge. Daily accidents happen as drivers negotiate potholes and sinkholes. You need to check suspension after every travel. MoT maintenance units should be at every 20km intervals here for temporary maintenance.

This is Zvipani to Chidamoyo road. We last saw a grader on this road more than 10yrs ago when @TembaMliswa was MP. Current MP is just useless and not visible.
