Compare Alberta vs MB and see the difference in infrastructure, public facilities, etc and MB has 7% PST too.

@gmartin101 @jasminlaine Quebec’s transfer payment for 2025-26 is forecasted at $29.3 billion. Every province east of Saskatchewan (MB-Nfld) gets transfer payments with Quebec getting 52.7% of them. Where do you think that money comes from, salmon fishing in BC? Sask, AB, and NE BC all have oil & gas.

@KarynBHeart @truckdriverpleb Alberta buys good oil from the US too because you’re too lazy to figure out how to refine bitumen into something usable at an affordable price. Not much use for bunker fuel in Alberta.

Please do some research on Enbridge’s Hardisty mainline. It goes to Sarnia & Montreal.

@fredhickey You’re correct healthcare is under provincial jurisdiction but the $$$ come from Justin. It takes a min of 8 years to become a doctor. When JT’s immigration floods Ontario with new residents on short notice how can healthcare possibly keep up? I’m pro responsible immigration!

@MLTspecialties @PaulStewartII Universal healthcare but he doesn’t have a doctor. Hardly rare in this country. Add in GST, gas tax, carbon tax, booze tax, etc and 40% is a realistic number without making a 100k. Wages haven’t kept up with inflation =lower standard of living.

There are 7200 unionized longshoremen in BC alone affected
