Isolating one part to fit an agenda without acknowledging the messy reality is disingenuous, thus my original comment cuts both ways.

And to reply to your other comment, the first people to adopt Christianity were all Jews. 😬. Many of them spoke Greek, including Saul/Paul (Jewish) the Greek churches came later.

@SchottHappens Also, the guy is a well knows singer/comedian in France and the song he sang, in context in French, was a joke that essentially pokes fun at anyone who takes themselves too seriously. It was self consciously absurd and very very French. It the funniest part of the whole show.

@LouPas 💯 - I remember studying the Mezquita in a history of architecture elective in undergrad and finally visited it last year. Amazing space to get lost in. Andalusia is one of the most interesting places I’ve ever visited. Granada/Alhambra also incredibly beautiful.

@yacineMTB No one needs an MBA to be successful. But it does provide the language and cultural codes to operate at higher echelons of business where personal income becomes scalable in a way that starting a small business isn’t. These are different paths, none better than another.

@eric_seufert I'd add that I fully expect the right to continue to gain ground. The young left is reactionary but not "revolutionary." I suspect many 18 to 24 year olds will shift right as they age, just as many of my own millennial friends have. Lots of RN voters used to vote socialist.

France has a cultural history of "Change through fracture." It's on it's 5th republic. The centrists represent only nostalgia for a broken social contract. The kids are going to fight it out write a new one.
