@LGKing20 #jmarx110b Again, this is what I heard/impression I got from the TA in discussion.I hope this helps somewhat.

[Thomas Robertson @tgrobertson]

@LGKing20 #jmarx110b Also that you should focus on a specific instance in the reading and not a generalization of the ovrall reading itself

[Thomas Robertson @tgrobertson]

@LGKing20 #jmarx110b From what I understood from the TA, most readings have instances that you could make work for the final.

@lonker01 #jmarx110b Our phys body could be a 'thing' too after we die with the whole grievance/funeral/burial etc.. process for fam/friends

[Thomas Robertson @tgrobertson]

@lonker01 #jmarx110b There is the iconic aspect of your person that could still remain a 'thing' after you die.

[Thomas Robertson @tgrobertson]

@lonker01 #jmarx110b I don't think our 'thingness' is a direct correlation to our individual identity;if that's wut u were trying to get at

[Thomas Robertson @tgrobertson]

@ToshiNCasey @vlgunter110B #jmarx110b The implications are out there. Beware, TA mentiond to stay away from people as things.

@jrblough @seedlings2011 #jmarx110b som1 brought up osama bin laden in this regard in discussion.

[Thomas Robertson @tgrobertson]

@RGannonKing @thfaulkner I think we've crossed the line into "truth is subjectivity" if we haven't already. #jmarx110b

[Thomas Robertson @tgrobertson]

@villegas_joanna #jmarx110b Not sure... But it's definitely a "thing"...maybe?. Can something be a "thing" without being an object?

[Thomas Robertson @tgrobertson]

@ToshiNCasey @JMRX #jmarx110b I think you're right. At one point would it become an object? When legislation/policies are changed bcuz of it?

[Thomas Robertson @tgrobertson]

@e_adamson The diary of Anne Frank is literature? #jmarx110b

[Thomas Robertson @tgrobertson]

@sksoap @nbmalone They are just expressing themselves, and aren't some people more creative at expressing themselves than others? #jmarx110b

[Thomas Robertson @tgrobertson]

@tgrobertson @Samkwells Oopsy, i was way off. Wonder if there is somway to justify blogging as a direct human interaction though #jmarx110b

[Thomas Robertson @tgrobertson]

@Samkwells I think if you have a relationship with the reader outside of the internets then it is a direct human interaction. #jmarx110b

[Thomas Robertson @tgrobertson]

@BG_Blogger911 I see what you did there. #jmarx110b

[Thomas Robertson @tgrobertson]

@ajsanchez91 It's the center/heart of Davis now for sure. #jmarx110b

[Thomas Robertson @tgrobertson]

@thfaulkner yeah it's pretty cool. Heard about them having the chimps control robotic arms like that too. #jmarx110b

[Thomas Robertson @tgrobertson]

@thfaulkner probably an RFID chip with wifi interfaced to the human brain #jmarx110b
