My friend is desperate to find her late dadโs ring, lost Fri 27 Mar on the 10.38 am from Andover to Winchester or 5.05pm from Winchester to Brockenhurst.
He was Brian Freemantle - author of many great spy novels and a really lovely man to boot.
Any help gratefully received!
Meet Mackenzie Bly (not his real name; see back cover).
I wanted to write something purely funny, but I fell in love with my lead character along the way.
It's out in August, but the lovely proofs have just arrived.
Retweet before tomorrow (Sun) evening, and I'll pick 2 winners.
For the avoidance of doubt, if you use AI to write a book, youโre not a writer. If you use it to finish your book, youโre a failed writer. If you use it to rewrite a book youโre not happy with, youโre a writer who cheats. Spell-checking? Absolutely fine. But no, being able to tell AI that you had a great idea about a dragon, a sushi restaurant and a cowboy-prince, and getting it to generate your story doesnโt make you a writer. It makes you someone who likes having silly fun with AI. And thatโs fine too. But no, youโre not a writer.
Writers, is there a way to get fake UK car reg numbers for use in film/TV/books? I know where to go for phone numbers, but can't find a car equivalent. Don't want to implicate a real car in a fictional murder ๐ตโ๐ซ
