I posted this before but haven’t started it. Pretty sure this R35 will be my build for Simon.

Hard for me to think of another way to acknowledge what Simon has done with the community here than to simply have fun with markers and enjoy a “shake and bake” Tamiya kit.

Best part is that I’ll still be expanding my envelope with these markers. I’ve used them on a shovel here and there now, but nothing like a full build.

Now full disclosure that I’ve also been eyeing a 1/700 USS Mount Whitney: Flagship of the Sixth Fleet. Between its top-of-fleet status and adding flags to represent where all the JFF members hail from…well damn…someone’s cutting onions here…it would be glorious! This being said, 1/700 builds aren’t exactly FUN. They are taxing. Especially to do it my version of justice. And without an AB, I think I’ll be cursing JFF and Simon by the end of it all!

So yea. R35 methinks.
