apparently the law has been changed.. But I don’t see how someone’s “life sentence” is considered to be 60 years in a state that has the most executions in US history. So they’re *possibly eligible for parole after murdering someone, but they carry out the death penalty more?

Wild. Texas laws continue to astonish me. Capital murder at one point was only applicable to when someone murdered a child 10 years or younger… So this POS is eligible for parole even though he murdered a 13 year old girl in cold blood. Make it make sense? #LaurensLaw
