@AmericanMama This is terrible! I am LITERALLY shaking right now! You mean, I'll have to eat in peace? No loud music? No dancing? No fights breaking out for no apparent reason? No yelling at the servers? It'll be tough, but I will endeavor to persevere.
@LASHYBILLS She didn't just "do a split". She was twerking. Regardless, I don't know what she's upset about. You don't need a high school diploma to work in a strip club.
@BrennCookk@bungarsargon You can't borrow your way out of debt. It's so obvious even a Liberal ought to be able to understand it. Keep digging a hole and the hole keeps getting deeper. What a surprise!
@KPASKSWHY "What if?" This is the dumbest game in the world. The fact is, they're not. Stop making up red herring arguments. Your use of logical fallacies and rhetoric falls short and is unconvincing except to the people who already agree with you in your little echo chamber.
If you're going for the expired tags, how about all the current Charlotteans who moved to NC years ago and still have their cars registered in the state they moved here from to avoid paying the property tax the rest of us are subjected to annually?
"New residents who plan to operate a motor vehicle in NC must obtain a North Carolina driver’s license and title and register their vehicle(s) within 60 days of establishing residency." Source: NCDOT
Several years ago, we reported nightly "drag racing" late at night on Rea Rd. near Ardrey Kell Rd. to CMPD. They claimed they had never had a report of that issue and had no indications that loud cars were causing noise in that area. We were doumbfounded! All they have to do is park a couple cuisers down there one Friday or Saturday night. When you think about it, when was the last time you saw a CMPD officer pull over someone for speeding or some other traffic violation? I drive quite a bit daily and it's been years since I've seen anyone getting a ticket unless its a NC State Trooper or Union County Sheriff doing it. It seems like CMPD has given up on traffic enforcement since Covid.
