Really ? What a shame, I would have loved to hear it.
I don't play piano much myself, I used to play for my wife when she was home but not so much anymore.
[ He's simply lost the will to play. ]
Still love it though and I can listen to others play but certain+
never admit that. ]
I don't have many hobbies so this keeps me relaxed.
I guess I could go back to the piano but I'm not quite comfortable with that yet.
[ Reminds him too much of the past. ]
I can't judge you since I'm no better.
I've been told I can be stubborn sometimes, at least when it comes to work. If I can't do work ,whether it's personal projects or my actual job, I lose my mind.
[ Work is the only thing that distracts him but he would+
+ what, his need to feel like he's doing something? He shouldn't be contorting himself to solder in place wires, but that stingy thing called 'stubbornness' had no intention of going anywhere. ]
Maybe I just keep it up to pretend I'm still young and healthy.
"Can I least pay you a little bit for the bottle then. Even if it's no big deal I don't think a simple thank you is enough."
He fishes out his wallet because he won't take no for an answer.
"Or if not money, how about a meal ? I didn't pack anything so do you guys have+
"I get it, there's a lot of stuff on your plate," Zell empathized as he eyed the older man.
"But as far as this goes? Don't sweat it! You should be good to go, soon as you're back in a solid spot with radiator fluid. I can grab a bottle real quick."
"I'm sure, no charge. Besides, it's not taking anything outta my day to give you a hand. Shut off the engine, and from here, we'll let it rest for about ten minutes."
"Right. Think my oldest son had mentioned it once but I probably forgot. I'll try to remember it though. Are you sure you don't want any money for your troubles though ?"
"Nothing hard. Letting the engine rest, first of all. Then, I'm gonna check to see if you've got enough antifreeze, 'cause you could be out of it. Good rule of thumb is taking care of that every few months."
"I don't know anything about cares but I can see the logic behind that."
Jun nods his head and slips inside of the car. He turns the engine on and lets it run.
Following along, Zell cracked his knuckles, ready to start. Popping open the hood, eagle eye studied the engine.
"First, I'm gonna need you to start it and crank up the heat inside. That'll draw heat away from the engine itself."
"Understandable. Just point me to the car and I'll give it a once over. Name's Zell Dincht, by the way. Good to meet you!"
And luckily, his hometown has a car rental shop where he spent a lot of time observing and soaking up know-how.
"Probably but I didn't have a choice. Although I feel bad for pushing it this hard."
The travel from his home in the city and his in-laws' home was a long one and he just hasn't been taking care of things like how he used to.
"Yikes," Zell frowned slightly, "Way too long. And you've been risking doing worse damage to the engine because of that. I'm no specialist, but I'm pretty solid with machines. I can give it a look for you, no charge."
